New player here. Just downloaded PR attempted to join HoG server and was instantly banned. Waiting for an admin to approve my account so I can appeal as I have no idea what I allegedly did by attempting to connect to the server.
Is this the state of the PR community? Is this normal? I wasting my time? They seem pretty ban happy from everything I have read about the server.

try going to their discord or teamspeak server/channel maybe? or there is a player who has the same cd hash as yours

Most likely, u are using a VPN which we block unless added to a whitelist, or your hash is the same as a banned player, if so...as it has become a common problem and, there is nothing we can do to help you.

just a note to speed things along, when registering on our site please use your ingame name in there so we can find you easily. This helps in keeping the trolls away.

The hash system creates duplicate hashes, server admins can do nothing about it....
not sure how u see that as bashing a player...

The hash issue is not HOG's problem, it's an issue with the way the algorithm has been calculating hashes. He's correct in saying there is nothing HOG can do. HOG's own admins are suffering hash collisions, unfortunately

Is the number of hashes too limited then, which is why there are colliding hashes?

I dont believe hashes are limited...What is being told to us and you is that there is an error in the way hashes are calculated by the algorithm...
And, no problem with blaming admins, I accept your apology for blaming us with out cause...no problem.

Not sure what u mean...I show 4 admins on at that time, one active on that map, then 3 more by the end of the map...Mylamber, Monkey, Jmoney and Googleboy...there were 2 minutes w/o a response to u...and some delays but it happens. I'd suggest maybe giving admin to someone like Submox, Tim2chins, or tell safetyoff to stop playing roblox.

I offered admin to Tim2 long ago , he didnt want the hassle....its difficult to find good people who are not just self interested...then good players just want to play not deal with all the ****...

You could try lite admin, so they only get admin when theres no admins on. Have you tried reaching out to the Japanese community?

I've played on HOG server(s) for many years but in the last 2 weeks it seems I'm banned for reasons unknown. No complaints other than that. Yea, I get some note to go to their website and I have but I'm not even gonna bother pleading, if the ban continues just another PR player gone. Thanks for all the great times devs, take care.

That's a little defeatist and narrow minded , maybe you have the same hash key as someone who is banned on HOG, if you don't ask then you will never know.

not really. I don't play with other names, intentionally TK, etc. and would think after 10+ years of playing with those guys they'd be a little better, at least send me a PM here or something. About the last US server going, so can't play with a decent ping why play anymore. Do enjoy playing with the Euro's, so cool to play with people all over the world, so at least I can still do that occasionally. {end of feedback} I appreciate the advice BluFFeR.
