If you didn't use T-paint did you do that all by hand?

na, used L3DT as a much more advanced Tpaint, can define as many textuers as i like, where they go etc. Makes very nice, realistic bases, just take a hell of alot to get them just right, complicated stuff
How ive been textuering Qinling, Fools Road and soon to come also muttrah
You should use it as a really nice base textuer, then you paint over the top of it, like Tpaint, but this one works better, + also I can do undergowth/overgrowth and other things too with it

Cause I have started my map,but I did the terrain by hand.So how would I use L3DT to paint it?

trust me, you want to learn a hell of a lot before even considering using L3DT. You need to know how the BF2 engine and maps work way before you can start thinking about it.
it was hard enough to exsplain to OkitaMakoto here the difference between colour and detail maps

And leeky. Its no longer my map but Rhino's, IronTaxi's, dbzao's and Mine.
I can hardly say its mine after all thats been done to it

thank you.. i know it's a BHD map, i've been watching/posting the whole topic.
what i was saying was that if it get's done, and they want to put it in, it doesnt really fit with the whole scene right now of future warfare that PR is in, because this happened back in the 90's. So, if they should want to include it in .7, they could make it a IDF vs. Hamas map, cause it looks like some great inner-city fighthing, or they could just make it an American vs. Insurgent Map with some blackhawks getting shot down.

Small bump, just so you know its not dead. its moving along smoothly. New textures are looking grand. Im currently messing up Rhinos work by adding in city textures and grassy areas, etc.
Some cool new locations have been added. Things are starting to look far less repetitive. Got a car dump, the old trash pile, working on a food distribution center and a water distribution center. Some new incoming statics hopefully for some nice environment to fight in. Expanding the city even further each day. Looking into possibly making it
even bigger!
Closing words: It's not Rhino's Muttrah City v2, nor is it any other PR map, but hey, its not looking/sounding that bad, eh?

sounds cool...i opened your map in the editor and i really like it but i personally believe it shouldnt be named black hawk down....its a great city map but in my opinion it hasnt much in common with the movie bhd
but no offense ... i really like it

well the mapper is basing his map on real events and real characteristics from the location where they happened, not on the movie itself. It's all about realism even if you know it or not.
