thanks for the reply, just thought i should bering this to your attention
Nobody is a "|TG|" member. Tactical Gamer is a community of like-minded players with the goal of creating an atmosphere promoting mature, teamwork-oriented gaming. Occasionally we do see people who identify themselves as agreeing and abiding by the TG community's philosophy by wearing the |TG| tag, such as the people you experienced, but either do not understand the ethics that TG follows, or they do not put those ethics into practice.
Anyone is allowed to wear the |TG| community tags, but when we see people wearing our tags that are playing immaturely or are not otherwise creating a mature, teamwork-oriented atmosphere, we ask them to take the tags off. There are always instances where such people are not caught by our server admins.
Thank you for bringing this to attention, but the best way for something to get done is to register on our forums and post in the link provided in Marine's sig. This puts you in a forum that only you and the BF2 admin team can see. This is by far the best way to report anything on our server. It sounds like you have some good evidence with you, I can imagine that puts you head and shoulders above many other people who report incidences.
Plus, registering on the forums gives you access to our Teamspeak server. It is a simple process, we encourage you to do it.

thank you for you're invite to the forums. i will continue this discussion on there. i dont mean to put a bad point on your server as it is usually a good server to play on. i have had many good rounds on there. my aim with my post was to bring this to your attention , not to discredit your community. if it came across that way, i apologise

Not at all Lofty, if anything, we should be thanking you for bringing this to the admins' attention. Thanks, and hope to see you on the server in the future.

Hey TG, I've commanded twice on your server recently and was most happy to find a population with great players who use voice! Great teamwork on your server, and its great to see so many mumblers on
Definitely my favourite American Server for AAS

TG was once my all time favorite server, even before it got into PR and was enforcing squad tactical play in vanilla BF2. But apparently everybody else thinks so because I can never ever get in your server anymore. Been like that for many months. I completly give up on trying to connect but still a great server. Good admins, good gameplay.

Out of curiosity, are mumble users given priority on the server?
Because I've once asked when members with TG tags were on, but I didn't get an answer. Luckily enough I was able to get on without it, but I don't strike lucky like that too often.

I heard that question being asked to an admin today, and the answer was no. Only Supporting Members are given priority joining on the server.

Yesterday I was on your server, greatly enjoying myself piloting a Huey on Jabal, but a few minutes into the game, after flying over the Dam, my game just crashed. I'd like to apologise for the destruction of the Huey, but point out that I couldn't really do a thing about it.
Anyway, I wasn't there when the two other |TG|'s were destroying assets.

I just got kicked off the sever for using GAME HACKS???? what kind of bogus...
I mean i've been playing PR for years and being kicked off a server for "Using hacks" is importent but, I know i don't hack. I mean its sorda cool to think that someone thinks i'm cheating, for two reasons, because
A. they're losers and i have no problem with losers doing dumb things, just proves to me how lame thy are and,
B. when I was playing Combat at arms kids thought i was cheating in that cause i PWNED THEM TILL TOMORROW so i dont really take this personally because i know I'm a quality bf2er. I dont need asshat Admins to convince me that i'm Cheating some how. unless you can PROVE TO ME and EVERYONE ELSE that i was "HACKING" you can taste these words and like it.
I was the commander of that game, which is still being played on Kashan as we speak, and you know what? I know we will win. Why?? not because of hacks... because we were better, better commanding better squad so, goodluck to everyone in that game, including the Sever/ Sever admin who Banned me, and i hope you get smoked by a team who wasn't hacking, but instead was the victim of a lack of dignity, you can ban all the players in the world TG, but you still suck.
I wish people would stop being such sore losers and get with the program.

I Hope i didn't do anything that was in violation of the game. Like i said, ive been playing this for awhile now and I dont think ive ever intentionally done anything to spoil it. Anyways, Its no big deal, I just think that kicking someone on the false basses of "hacking" is cheating.

please, before you start whining and accusing admins of false kicks/bans. PLEASE hear what the admins have to say, chances are you are miss understanding the subject and blowing it out of proportion.

you might want to take your complaints here instead
Tactical Gamer. As far as I know there is a better chance that they will do something about it there then by posting it in here. And you might also get an explanation on why you were banned.

I didn't like the server when I first started to play on it (0.8 ). So I didn't play on it for a while. Then 0.85 came out. I started to play more and more. Why? Because admins are doing a great job, if theres no admin, but you need him, Dispo will show up and take care of everything

. The only problem (this is the biggest problem on
ALL servers) are smacktards, but admins are doing an AWESOME job and take care of them!
Almost everytime I join a squad, I always have fun.
I recommend this server to everyone who likes teamwork and who wants to have some fun!

Well I for one got banned MONTHS if not a year ago by an angry admin who didn't like my allahu akbars... lol
Still havent got unbanned. I know I should have begged in some forums to get another admin to remove it but hey, I'm pretty sure that prick is still around and theres many servers where one can enjoy a multi-cultural gameplay without suffering from another's hatred temper.
It was so long ago all I remember is that he was [TG-6th]. I only post this here because im surprised the ban is still in vigor after so much time. For such ridiculous reasons.

First, TG is aimed at mature players, not people who think that doing 'impersonations' of terrorists is funny and so it is against the rules just like any other racial or culturally derogatory behavior. Second, the place to appeal your ban would be amazingly enough
Tactical Gamer and while you could possibly be unbanned, it would be handled by the person who originally banned you.
Since you don't seem to take the reason for the ban seriously, it would be unlikely that you would be unbanned. Have fun with that 'multi-cultural gameplay' on other servers if that is what you think 'multi-cultural gameplay' is.

Funny how many times players don't get the facts straight with regard to bans, and more importantly how they feel they never did anything to justify the kick/ban in the first place.
So many good players and so many bad admins. It's a wonder people play on these servers at all.

If you're arrogant enough to think all Arabs are "terrorists", Especially the Iraqi Resistance fighting an ARMY. I pity you.
Allahu akbar is a simple cheer. Accepted by pretty much all servers of PR. Afterall, it is integral part of reality and this is what this game is about. If you can't stand that, you shouldn't play PR at all, you should play something like Operation E-crusader.
And where did you see me ask for unban? I didn't. As a mather of fact,
if you quoted me correctly instead of trying to deform what I posted by using 1 sentence out of 10, You'd read that I wasn't even interested in going back there with such mentalities administrating it.

Looking at the logs, I guarantee you weren't banned from TG for saying "allahu akbar".
If you'd like to discuss it further, then do so in our forums with the admins, otherwise best of luck to you and have fun playing PR.

1: I did not say anything about Arabs at all, nor did I make any generalization about the insurgency class of PR.
2: Allahu akbar is a statement that ‘Allah is the greatest’ and is used in prayer by Muslims, not a ‘cheer’ for insurgents in battle. It’s offensive to use as a ‘simple cheer’ the same way it is offensive to call someone a ‘towelhead’ because they are insurgent, and just because other servers allow something doesn’t mean we have to.
3: I quoted you correctly, the only important part of your post was your whining about being banned to show I was responding to you. If anyone needed to see what you wrote they could look up the 2 inches from my post to see yours, it did not need to be immediately duplicated in the following post.
You'll get more respect from other players when you show respect yourself.
*Edit: I see you even attributed the wrong reason for being banned, which makes this explanation futile. Oh well.
