F88S w/ ACOG will not be the marksmen. SR-25 is for that... as for the shorter barrel pretty sure they just run with the same barrel

Barrel length: 508 mm (assault rifle)
407 mm (carbine)
F88 AUSteyr - Army Internet - ARMY
F88C Austeyr: A carbine version of the Austeyr F88 featuring a shorter, 407 mm (16.0 in) barrel. The F88C is generally used as a personal defensive weapon where maneuverability is an issue, such as in armoured vehicles.
Steyr AUG - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
are you really sure about it?

Tonnie on the F88SA2 optic the front post should be the same height as the rails, the gap between the rails and the front post have been set up to act as emergency battle sights
The ACOGs should also have emergency battle sights on them.

I think the barrel of the F88A1 looks a bit too short, i thought A2 and A1 has a similar barrel?

Hm, the Aussies named it Aus Styer? Originally the gun's from Austria(not Australia) and the name's Steyr AUG or STG77 A1. Did you Aussies customize it?
Anyway, nice model!

Yes alot, australia bought the design over the M4 due to the fact we could custimise the weapon in anyway we wanted. And there formed the F88 from that

we will base it off the current standard for PR, take the US ARMY as an example:
M4 w/ACOG - Officer ---- F88SA2 w/ACOG
M4 w/Aimpoint - blah blah - F88A2 w/Aimpoint
ect ect
