I know that the suspense is part of the DEV's work, but don't let us blind. Always, when possible, post a few screenshots and tell us about the progress.

Please, be patient. Remember, this is our hobby and not our job. I'm not holding anything back from you, or trying to tease you/wind you up. I'm showing you as much progress as I can without showing really heavy WIP stuff because all I'll get from that is comments about how bad this bit is, and how people are worried about it not working etc etc. I already get enough of that as it is...
I will post an update in a few weeks, as I've already mentioned. As anyone who has tried it will tell you, mapping is a very hard thing to do. Some people might just be able to whack stuff down and bingo it looks great straight away, move on to the next section, but I can't do that. I have to work at each area, often spending weeks and weeks trying different things out in one small section until I get it right. It takes especially long when I am continually referring too/working from reference material.
Anyways, I'm not having a go, just pointing out why I can't always be posting up new material

awww, its alright mate, I don't want to kill your enthusiasm/make ya feel bad! Hopefully a new screenshot will help cheer you up
The poppies are just undergrowth atm, but will be replaced with the overgrowth versions at the end. Not necessarily in this particular field, I was just experimenting with them.
I'll post more later, promise.

I love it how every single centimetre of the 4km is being detailed, not like Kashan where the majority of the map isn't used...
