Is this also about UK Insurgency server? There was another guy two days ago that was commander and totally destroyed a whole round.
He was spamming the accept button and all our FBs and stuff where destroyed (or he said it was him destroying it) and he was making symbols on the map.
I dont remember his name but someone on the server must have got it, or if there was a admin kicked him out at the end of the run and banned him too. Or if he just left.

Anyway, great server and much fun, except from this guy...

We had 2 reports of Griefers yesterday, one of them is banned and the other one will be soon,

Meh, I play every day on UKWF for the hope of a Kashan round on it. But apart from weekends i nerver see the dusty sand, and the blue sky of the desert. Cant you move it abit up the map cycle?

I'll have a look into changing the map cycle sometime this week Elektro, i just need to wake up early enough to do it before people connect

argh, new server list. almost memorized the last list . Just had a great game being trans pilot on Barracuda, had to drop a lot of crates for you guys at road out of chinese main. was about to drop another crate to [r-dev]....homer (can't remember his name exactly), then BOOM, CTD, I hate that :/. apart from that another great pr night .

Hopefully we will be mixing it up a little more often, but glad you had some fun. I think the R-Dev you are thinking of is EvilHomer . Hope your CTD wasn't a server wide issue,

You did a great job that round bomber, by the time we finished we had a full 20 mines laid and their access to the flags was cut off completely. I saw you get disconected which was a shame but just so you know we ended up capping them out and won by 40 or so tickets.

Dunno why but the server, no actually the game in general is going down hill

Today three people where banned from your server in 2 rounds for messing about with assets and kits, its utterly frustrateing

i reallise that you cant do much about it but the server is becomeing a hot bed for complete **** wipes

ok im vented for now, but i wont keep quiet about it, i think the worst thing that ever happened to this mod was it going mainstreem

It's difficult drawing a line between what is acceptable and what isn't. I agree when you say the quality of play shown by some players is often of a poor standard, While we do want to allow new players to get into the game and enjoy, those who show no regard's for others and just continue to waste assests, like you said do get removed. Players that have a will to learn, and a drive to improve their game are always welcome, those that just want to fly Choppers and drive around in 8man Trucks alone with Sniper kits, are not.

Well your right with what you said, said people won't becoming back (unless they appeal of course) however , expanding Project Reality's player base is often a good thing, for every Tk'er, Huey roller and sniper whore, their will always be players that will far surpass anything i could hope to ever do, and we must not exclude them from the game,

For everyone's information:

Our Insurgency server was forced offline by multiplay today, after they decided it was a great idea to patch all BF2 servers to 1.5 with complete disregard for individual requirements and without checking back with their customers whether they actually wanted this update to be installed.

Our requests to revert back to 1.4 were summarily ignored by their 'customer service' and as of now we are essentially paying for a service that we are not receiving. Our contract with multiplay is running out at the end of the month and after what happened today we are certainly not going to renew it.

I would strongly recommend to any multiplay customers who can get out of their contracts to move their business elsewhere, as a company with a customer service that abysmal and with blatant disregard for their clients' needs does not deserve any business from the PR community.

We are currently looking for a temporary solution to bring our popular Insurgency server back on-line and we appreciate your patience in this matter.
