I'm pretty sure the MG3 will be the MEC's MG, so I highly doubt it will be disappearing from PR any time soon.

speaking of ramiel, what city is that map based on?

protip: there is no city in existence called "ramiel"

The initial name of that map was actually "BlackHawk Down" when it was started as a community map made by Okita, he even had a building made out of parts of houses, that represented the big compound that gets assaulted in the movie.

Eventually the name was changed to Ramiel and the building was replaced with the T building (G4-4) since the map got the devs attention and they weren't too happy with its connection to the movie.

It did start as a faithful recreation of the movie and that is why you still have the crash sites for example, but it was vastly changed until its final release.

The idea was to eventually add the Mogadishu rebel faction to replace the insurgents in this map so lets see if that is actually happening or not. It would definitely bring something new to the game even if only for its immersion.

Yep, it's Mogadishu. That's also why you get the Marines (Operation Restore Hope) and the US Army (Operation Gothic Serpent).

Hur dur, your so funny. You do realize this was a teaser in a way to get y'all excited for 1.0. Either ways y'all got a lot of things right in your decryptions. You"ll get the changelog before 1.0 is released.
