we do try to discourage spam, particularly in 'all chat' but during the summer period its pretty low on your average admin's 'to do list'....

Round 1 - Air Wars

Event Type: Air Combat Manouvers

Map(s): Kashan Desert




Duration of Event
Aprox 2 hours

Event Scenario
Centred around the Kashan map, squadrons from both sides will be pitted against each other
in an arial dual. Tasked with defending their own ground assets, the winners will be determined
by both the number of aircraft downed and vehicles remaining.

Supporting Assets
A vehicle park will be established for both sides to defend. Air craft will be made readily
available for players, should they respawn.

Event Organisation
Both sides will have to split their forces into both air and ground dedicated aircraft. Top cover
must be provided for the ground attack aircraft. Both types may engage in ACM to combat their
advasary. Pilots who are unfamilier with ground attack, will have an opportunity to improve their
skills employing weapons against ground assets. Similarlily, players who are new to aircraft in PR
can practice the role. Training heads will be available on TS, should help be required.

Cmon bang, you could have just linked it. I mean its huge.

I like the asset rules, people dont switch roles around, crewman stay crewman and pilots stay pilots. Also first named gets the asset rule is pure win.

About spam, it kinda comes in waves in nights when people are tired. Usually its just me trolling lol.

How many tickets did the Milita have? We had 9 as Brits, but were about to cap NE City.

but sorry, you weren't about to cap NEC, not unless you had more than 10 players there, we just had a momentery lapse of flag defence thats all (cough cough)
we had 20 tickets left (at crash) but they were going down quicker than a whiskey after a long day so its anyones guess.
both sides fought like hell so i'm totally happy to call it a draw....even though we won (morally)

You sure? I think we had over 60 tickets left when the server crashed (Militia).

guys could you start kicking those lonewolf unassigned twits, its really annoying when you have 1 or 2 entire squads unassigned just derping around the map, or sitting AFK for the entire match, causing the team to lose the match or several, this is my only problem with the server(s).

If you see a player being afk for longer time, feel free to use the !r to let us know.
Its hard for us to both play and keep an eye out for everything.

As to the lonewolfs, well players are hardcoded. Unless they waste jeep after jeep, or join squads just to take a kit, then leave, there isnt much we can do about it.

As much as we understand your frustration, karambaitos, we can't kick people for not doing what you want them to do. We can't kick players for being noobs or new to the game. We're not elitists here..

As Jevski said, if they break the rules by wasting assets or being generally annoying by joining squads to steal a sniper kit then yes, we will kick them. We will however not boot someone out because he's lonewolfing, as much as that may be to the teams disadvantage.

Had a fun Kashan MEC round last night.

I was lucky to have decent squaddies so we held SB.

Even managed to do some lazing for the competant CAS.

Shame no trans most of the time though.

Server crashed few times and died. Had some fun playing around in the empty server with hardcore.

Had a great round on Fallujah and Al Basrah around 11.00 GMT. On Fallujah we won because of time running out (Insurgents) and as BLUFOR we won by scanning the area and taking out 4 caches. (2 were discovered because of lonewolves spawning on it) the other 2 by patrolling. The Insurgents though they thought we were cheating. Well, don't spawn on unknowns!

Actually, BLUFOR won on Fallujah. They got the last cache with less than a minute on the clock! Nevertheless a great round

I was to the bathroom that last minute so.....well the insurgents deserved the win!

Well managed server, well disciplined players, incredible number of mumble users. Thumbs up guys, you earned it.

mumble = get your team to use and get used to mumble then create a grass roots mumble usage throughout your community by creating 'mumble only' squads.
then players will naturally want to be on mumble because not to would be unbeneficial.
glad you had a happy time and of course all =]H[= welcome anytime (even though it would probably be to late for most of us limeys !!)
