I imagine that is position with the flak 36 should be strategically protected by the German team, as it is a weapon capable of penetrating and shoot down any tank so far present in the pr: ww2.

Yup, 100% agree. The weapon is very powerful however it doesn't take much to take it out. Germans are going to have to protect it to the best of their ability.

That being said, it'll be interesting to see how the American team does against it. I'm looking forward to the first time players encounter it. I wanna hear screams to get down as shells rain from the air :)

That'd be me. Had to create a new one because our previous version was taken away by it's creator a few weeks ago. Based of the St. Martin's church in Cruelly, France. Not meant for that town specifically in our case, more of a nice general rural French church :)

No harm done. It was a blessing in disguise.

This model is much better than the previous one.

I don't wanna go into too much detail on this, but they're spawnable statics.

There would have been a lot more things to do in order to make them drivable and such (especially since you cannot use overlapping textures on vehicles, they have to all be on the same UV sheet that I know of as opposed to statics which can overlap), and to my knowledge there is still the max of 8 seats like any other vehicles in PR at the moment.

Thus, I wanted to go for spawnable statics rather than spend the time making them actual vehicles. If we weren't as limited on BF2 coders on our team I may have gone for it, but currently it's too much work for too little gain. If they were drivable you'd only be driving for a good 20 seconds before your ship hit the beach anyways :P

TLDR: All ships except for the LCVP will be static objects! :D

Oh, man. That screenshot at the top of the tank moving through the bushes looks awesome. What's that map and who made it?

I did. Although tbh that angle might be a little deceiving if one is impressed by the density. This is only how it looks like from a 3rd floor looking over several hedgerows.

Do you intend on making some of the hedgerows not trepassable for both infantry as well as vehicles since these were actually quite obstructive? I really liked that aspect about Resistance and Liberation's and Company of Heroes' maps and I would like to see it here as well.

And that's a Panzer alright ;) Anything else to expect in the vehicle department(eg. SdKfz Puma)?
