hehe thanks, some changes will be made though - both to the dropship and the containers.
Dropship is still at concept stage but it seems to be going in the right direction so time will tell how it will look ;)

hm, any chance that the dropship could really transport an other vehicle ?

the combat is only with little VTOL aircraft things, no ground forces what so ever.

The dropship will be there as a static (with the container underneath), the containers will be statics as well, but a flyable version of the dropship (without the container) might be implemented near the end of the project.

your mod could really bring in something new, i hope your jets have a good phyisic and don't just fly like helos

Rhino is involved by giving advise and helping us test. Maybe sometime in the futre he will even map a bit for us, hehe :)

Our crafts have great physics now, its a great cross between a helo and a jet. all the power of a yet and all the agility of a helo = twise the fun ;) I'll upload a few videos soon, but untill then I have a little WIP progress of some rocket pods/exploding bullets that I am working on here: (very first ingame test video of the rockets)

Although that was a few weeks ago, and the flight dynamics have changed quite a bit since then :)

since its been bumped I might as well bump my weapon coding process:

I am not exactly sure how many ships they will be used on, but I do belive that a 7 rocket salvo/barrage will be used on the new medium marine craft. But only 4 shots (4 rocket pods, 7 rockets per pod). so the player will have to make them count or else he will be flying back and forth for ammo all the time.

I think the flak cannons may be used on the heavy class, probably 2 turrets or something, one piloting, and maybe one more controlling something else.

Keep in mind that the medium and heavy class will be quite slow and very poor when it comes to agility. So if you are flying a light class you attack these monsters from the side or back if you dont want to risk rockets :)

rocket barrage is also ready for testing imo. added quite a bit of gravity modifier to this one so they would arc a bit, mostly for the sake of the effect as it wont have much use in game when there is no gound stuff to bombard with indirect fire hehe.

think they look weak? try looking at around 0:50 again and notice the amount of damage at the distance I am from the impact site.

oh and sorry about the background music and msn beeps. Just found out I forgot to turn off my music when I go record. I always have music on and I record sound as "what you hear" hence the msn noices and such -_-
I am also working on a small salvo (2-3 shots) for semi-guided weapons 8)

Wrong. ;)

It's my first attempt at any kind of model but...

as you can see this is the M32. Its a slightly updated/improved version of the MGL-140 developed to the USMC's specific requirements. The only way you would have been able to tell this is by the black handle on the 140 and the slightly wider notch at the end of the barrel on the 32.
