(FRDF) Finnish Rapid Deployment Force.
I hate that they are making ''Norwegian Defence Forces''.
That is the stupid thing because Norway doesn't even have big army, in Northern Europe.
And Norway is in NATO, we have already two NATO-countries in Project Reality.
Finnish Defence Forces would be good idea cause it is biggest army in Northern Europe and has biggest artillery in Europe. Also it is modern army, and non-NATO country.
It is different than many other armies in Europe. And the Stuff of FDF is coming from Russia,Germany, and USA. The standard rifle of FDF is RK-95 and older one RK-62. ''Rynnäkkökivääri-62/ and 95'' these are variants of AK-47 and maybe the best variants. IMI Galil is the variant of RK-62.

How is that stupid? Theyve found enough volunteers to start the faction. You just have to find some people who would like to work on the FDF and they might be implented as well.

I actually don't mind which faction gets released next, as long as it's soon!!

I wish all the faction teams could collaborate on 1 faction at a time, meaning that like you could do 1-2 factions per major release, rather than having 9 factions that may/may not ever get released at some unspecified time in the future.

Of course I understand that people will only really be willing to work on something they're passionate about, so it's hard to expect say a Norwegian to care about texturing a Bushmaster or a French gentleman to care too much about UV mapping the new G36 optics etc

My favorite UNRELEASED faction is Sweden.

my second vote around is the ARF because the concept on its own has so much potential.. Africa vs French Africa vs GB Africa Vs MEC : AFRICA VS AFRICA?!? . .. yes and you know its true. that faction is also a good candidate for a secondary Insurgency version for maps like the Somalian coast map. and maps in general have a rich source of interesting landscapes and forests , savannas. The other factions YES are great but i feel that african resistance faction should be sort of top priority since it can help Expland the game more ... opposed to throwing more factions into the same game {SHELL}. . .

and P.S im sort of getting tired of shooting at Iraqis and islamics arnt you??

Definitely looking most forward to the Norwegian Forces. Probably because I'm Norwegian myself.

ARF, Africa opens up a huge theater for mappers.

Sweden would be nice, they have a couple of uniqe looking stuff about.

Finland would just be strange.. Sure they have lots of people doing mandatory service each year, but their contribution to campaigns in other countries is slim.

African factions/theme would be very nice. You got a big spectrum there, from very modern forces like South Africa, to perhaps a generic faction (African Union?) to rebells and PMC and you have a big varity in terrain and big cities with both slums and high buildings.

Are they even making the Swedish Army?

Not actively. I know there was discussion on it and somebody may have modeled the AK5 (Swedish rifle) but it never really got off the ground.

There is a Swedish forces mod for regular BF2 though.

African resistance fighters definitely add a lot to variety along with PSC

I like the African Resistance Fighters. Feel like they add some diversity.

You'd need to make the hitboxes smaller though, but I'd definitely be into my character fighting barefoot dressed only in a pretty wedding dress.
