Actually I use V for the voip in game and B for the mumble. I'd like to know if it's possible add another button for mumble to active it.

and there are new snapshots, should we update or leave the 19522 ?

Yes you're right about that. We would need a version having static settings... I was talking and thinking about people using mumble "fairly".

I do have great hope for this app...

I don't fully understand the meaning of your question but you can set whatever button you want for the push to talk of mumble.

I think it is possible, just try to set another push to talk in your shortcut tab in mumble's settings. I can't see why that would be usefull though?!

I'm using the latest snapshot and it works fine.

Can someone take a screen shot of their audio input and output sections and post a screen shot up here? I'm having trouble with my mumble and a wall of text guide isn't the best guide in the world

=Romagnolo=, you're using non-regulation settings :(

Your max distance is 70.1 meters, not 70.0 meters

jjk

On a side note. What does bloom do anyway?

70.1
unfair advantage eh? or above average hearing :D

Bloom is apparently how much sound volume increases for really close people

Ok lads,

Here are Rudd's tips for expert mumble use.

Keybinds -

Go 'settings' -> 'shortcuts'

Make sure you have buttons for

Force centre - This is your 'radio' to talk to everyone in your sub channel.

i.e. if you are in the iGi channel, sub channel SL team 1, only those in the SL sub channel will hear you. DO NOT USE FORCE CENTER IF YOU AREN'T IN A SPECIALISED CHANNEL. Or you will force me to alt tab and kick you.

Volume - There are times when you don't need to hear mumble and need to hear something else. This isn't a fault with mumble, even when I'm on St John Ambulance duty I need to turn the radio down to talk to other people, or deal with the casualty. I just turn it down to the level that I can hear if my callsign is being called. I do the same with mumble if I need to do something requiring quiet. e.g. the start of the round, SLs are talking to eachother and I need to assign kits to my squad.

This also helps balance your game volume against mumble volume without having to Alt Tab.

There are 2 buttons you need, DECREASE VOLUME BY 10%, and INCREASE VOLUME BY 10%.

With these simple keybinds you will find your mumble experiences more positive.

i can't play PR without mumble now, i love it so much.

example, we (igi) was going to fill our server , and PR official mumble server was having problems (no one could speak/hear) so we couldn't be bothered to fill server cause its just not same without mumble !
