Hmm, I'd like to agree with you because it's an easy solution to prevent that white/alien green inaccessible area around the map! Only problem is; foxx's map is based on a real location, Eslam Aq Meydan, Northern Afghanistan, and that area is actually very flat, the nearest hilltop is approximately 60 km away!

So I suggest you limit the view distance around the map, and rather have an inaccessible area that looks like the rest of the map and could've been playable.

i was looking on some referances , and those threes are the nearest i can come i think to what i saw :P , and btw guys lol calm down lol, i just started the map, i know it misses ALOT :p

Roger. Have a look at what's used on Op Archer. That's a good look, but I'm not quite sure where that takes place and what sort of vegetation one might find locally.

Looks like you should mainly go for shrubs and bushes, and only a few large clumps of trees here and there. Don't line them along the road - it just looks artificial, as if they were planted there instead of growing wild. This isn't an avenue in Oslo. ;)

dont make simply plane village areas...what makes a village really nice is some variation in terrain.

Maybe make village, somewhere close highlands, but with green vegetation near hit. Kinda like Helmand.

If you are well traversed in the games workshop game warhammer 40.000 (miniatures) you will se that in this millennia the soldiers of the imperial guard are executed without mercy for disobeying orders. and since there are untold billions of them there is no need for an extra, as well as physical punishment is frequently used as mankind is ruled by a "good" dictator that is
worshipped as a god.

this miniature game has a very interesting story, that is complicated as well as intriguing.

this qoute("a good soldier...") is to taken seriously in a gameplay situation and i think all sqdleaders like a obedient bunch of teammates, that do their jobs, not teamkilling, smacktarding or playing while drunk or intoxicated.
