I prefer insurgents, although it's not as much fun, now that the RPG has been given ridiculously unrealistic drop this version.

On the rare occasion that I join an insurgency map, if I don't get put on either British/US forces I leave the server.

Insurgents are good, same balance. I mean some players that are attackers are very good, and some aren't... So its very balanced.

But I can't seem to see why people dislike the Insurgents. I think that people that are from like PR 0.6 or w/e are way more better with Insurgents. All the new comers live choppers and that.

Part of it seems to be that in most cases whenever people go Insurgent their brains turn to mush and nobody can be arsed doing any sort of Teamwork, nabbing the best weapon they can from a cache and running towards the infidels without a care in the world.

I like insurgency.
I team work a lot, Mainly I am commander cause 70% of the squads don't know how to aim an RPG.

Very often OPFOR as they have a broader choice of weapons and for the 47 :D I just love it, I don't know about you guys but I can shoot it the way I want it to shoot, many say it got to much recoil but you have to treat it with love :D

I generally prefer BLUFOR on INS, but running 1000 meters just to get that APC in the *** with the RPG is amazing. Or to just terrorize BLUFOR with AK74U. INS is more diverse in terms of available tactics and play styles.

I enjoy both.

BLUFOR.

Although I much prefer AAS to Insurgency, shame most of the bloody servers seem to be Insurgency.

Insurgents have the best vehicles: technicals and technicals with SPGs.
Also technicals with lots of civies on the back.

Depends on map really. Sometimes Ins are fun camping the cache with horde of guys coming in on it.

If im BLUFOR it seems I can find a much more team work squad, compared to Insurgents its mostly dead and defend on your own tactics.

Again, varies from map to map honestly. Lately I been learning more to have more fun on Ins so i dont feel so "mehh" everytime I get up Ins.

Devs ruined Insurgents gameplay...

1) Raised stamina 4 all type of forces on the same level(insurgents must have biggest stamina - they ain't overweighted with different stuff)
2) RPG 7 facepalm... i shooted it in real life(wuz in Russian MF) u can hit a target with 95% accuracy from distance about 100m, and grenade won't fall down so quickly - it is idiotic...

quit this game, being playing it since .85, now its like shit...

100m is doable(move up just about as long a distance as the sight post's length), and it always hits because RPG is accurate at that distance(assuming you do not do twitch shooting).

200m requires praying to allah...

yep, but now u need lots of allah praying even on 100m T-T cause 100 meter its too close, especially when ur target on open clear place... u need about 4-5 sec to aim on it, its enough to become spotted T-T

That is why we do RPG ambushes instead of charging forward yelling "Allahu Akbar!" while trying to aim it. lol

Crouch down behind a piece of cover/concealment and then stand up to fire.

I do agree that RPG-7 does not feel "right" as compared to other LAT such as the RPG-26.

When I fired the Russian RPG-7, it also felt like it is much less accurate than others.

I do not even recall anything in the changelog about RPG trajectory change...

Let's just remember that insurgents are people with arms and a very limited knowledge of weapons, I believe they have people who can shoot but these are likely veterans and not in big quantities I suppose?

Like the Taliban and Militia (here Chechens as example) for instance have a certain freedom (financial and physical) to move around and to train with the weapons, everyday insurgent don't. As many regions are heavy guarded by troops.

Anyway, why can't there be 2 or 3 versions of the RPG, for each faction one depending on their 'skills' irl?
Insurgent would obviously be less accurate while Russians would be more accurate.

Newbie RPG kit contains a normal RPG.

Professional RPG contains a normal RPG with a scope

Allah's blessed RPG gunner contains a RPG with lots of holy words written onto it and can one shot BluFor tanks to simulate always being able to hit the critical parts(or lines of death)...

The RPG-7 isn't hard to use, in the same sense as the AK, it's designed to be user-friendly. It was built, so that any idiot could learn to use it effectively, with very little training. Really not sure why the DEVs messed with the drop though. From what I can remember, in-game, it now drops past 50 metres. Anyone who's seen clips of RPGs knows this is absolutely ridiculous.

I have faith, that there will be a torrent of complaints once the feedback section is opened, and the DEVs will fix the once awesome RPG.

Wasn't the RPG-7 nerf'd once before, not too many releases ago? Something to do with it's power against infantry? That was very unnecessary also; wish they'd just leave it alone, it was fine as it was.

I prefer being Us and British as the insurgents cant request kits and the anti armour pick ups really suck. I remember once, I spent fifteen minutes on 9.6 chasing a APC with a rpg kit, I finally got up behind it, crouched for three seconds and fired. the rpg when 4metres ahead of me and just droped to the ground... sooo disappointed. also the RPGs are impossible to use at range, making it extermly hard on insurgency to take out any vehicles due to no or little optice weapons and poor RPGs.
