Agreed. Kokan is hopelessly unrealistic and gamey. My squad was working with NwA-crewed LB's and a Stryker but we still couldn't take the cache due to the stupidity of the compound placement. Ragequits ensued. There are better Insurgency maps that can be played (Dragonfly, Iron Ridge..)

While I can agree that Kokan sometimes can be a bit too much for BLUFOR, due to impenetrable compounds, there is a reason Dragonfly and Iron Ridge are kept out of the rotation. Matches on Dragonfly take 3+ hours with an almost certain win for the Militia, and Iron Ridge is over in 30 minutes with an almost certain win for the Russians due to them killing 7 unknowns on terribly obvious locations.

We try to keep the maplists varied, and refresh them when there is a need to. I'll pass the message on though, and see if I can do something about some more maplist switching.

I've seen Militia win Insurgency Dragonfly once. Its a balanced map with balanced assets. The British can't go into the city without large amounts of support, and the Militia can easily outflank. Although there are issues with caches in the open fields up north, they don't spawn TOO often.

Can you guys post the maplist here, should be the maplist.Append list in Notepad.

I REALLY MISS THE DAYS WHEN NWA 1 WAS AN ONLY INS SERVER -.-

i had so much fun playing INS on your server and then came that day. When i saw that your server changed to an ordinary "Mixed Maps" server i was really sad. Well, someone told me it's only for 1 or 2 days in the week. I thought okay...

But nothing is okay now...there is no INS only server left, except for CIA but it's allways empty, and starts to lag around 50players.

I hope there will come a new INS server or you maybe change the second to an INS only server. I'm pretty sure a lot of ppl are pissed off cuz of the fact that there are only Mixed Maps or AAS server left.
After every round i have to leave the server again and join another one. just cuz i don't want to play a map where it's sucks to be Infantrie, like Silent Eagle, Kashan ect.
Don't missunterstand me...I like AAS but i prefer to play INS and the situation that we have now is for me and all the others who like INS gameplay really screwed up :? ??:

AAS inf only, Muttra with only Boats, kokhan and Fools Road. Logi trucks and trans trucks only. Could be a winner.

Played some good rounds on the server yesterday. I had to admit that the Mumble system greatly increases the PR experience (altough I was not a fan of it). It also helped intersquad communications, which are really rare, even if a commander is there.
I only met teamwork-oriented players and SL's there, and I had a great time.

Pity that there was a massive CTD on the server, and my slot was taken...

EDIT: Agree with above.

I would love to bring back our Ins only server but unfortunately we cannot admin both servers adequately and gameplay + teamwork were suffering. We do hope to be able to bring the ins server back in the near future.

Apply to become a member of *NwA* then! We're always willing to accept new members into our ranks, and also our admin ranks. Not right away, but once you've been 'adjusted' for a small month or so we're always willing to give it a shot ;)

Thread cleaned.

The rules are simple, We don't discuss bans on these forums. If you feel that you've been treated unjustly then take it to their forums. If that doesn't get you anywhere, then don't play on their server anymore.

This flame war going on here needs to stop now, this applies to both sides of the argument. Another post on the matter from anyone will get that person an infraction.

It's very sad to see NwA taking this direction. I always liked playing on the server, which always has good teamwork going. Things went even better when the server decided to endorse mumble more. But seeing how this matter was handled, even looking past whether the actual ban was justified or not, reflects very badly on NwA.

He's not talking about the ban, he is commenting on the way it was handled which is a reflection on the quality of administration.

I personally have found NwA admins to be fair, attentive and speedy when sorting issues.

NWA <3

We all have our disagreements, even me at times with the admins, however, with the right attitude and you don't come in with an ego, they treat you with respect and fairness.

If only people realized they don't need to sound like a behavioural professor behind a keyboard, that would be a perfect world.

People should always be allowed to express their feelings. The way the write it doesn't really matter, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.
Who knows? Maybe the person actually is a behavioral professor? :)

Yeah but I mean the arrogant self-righeous tone, that's what gets me. Clear simple and a non-douchified way of talking is always a plus, makes you seem more sorry than trying to convey your right..
