they look simular to the opk huey uh-1d. EOD2 also got some nice huey which also look simular, but there are old onces. so i would advise ask opk for their model and maybe remove/rework thier mg mounts, cos the german mg mount looks really different then the 50. cal mounts in the japan hueys

Here's the Komutsu LAV I started working on this morning. It might be finished tomorrow, but then again it mightn't be.






In case your wondering why there is a big ugly seam the lenght of the model it is because I like to do chamfer that type of seam right at the end

God damn it people. Vehicle models are being done so fast that I feel entitled to demand UV and skinning ASAP.

just a little update, finished the back of the LAV. things may be a little oddly scaled, I'll fix that when everything is modelled. I still have to do the roof, suspension and a little detail on the hud and wipers

Thanks Does anyone have any ref material of the top? I can kinda guess how to model it but I can do a better job if I have more pics to work from

thanks 162eRI,, I've got enough reference material now to model every detail that I havn't modelled yet. Oh, and I'll tweak those headlights soon

It's a modification for the war, so more realistic, but I think we should keep the Japanese version? No? What do you think guys?

Personally, I think the Iraq version is extremely ugly, the armored plates really ruin it's appearance. It would be easier to model than the other version (better ref material), but it'd take up more precious poly's, I'm already a good bit above budget. Just my 2c, it's up to you guys
