Yeah we plan on using DeltaFart's SPG9 mounted on technicals. Also, we're going to use BMP-1s and AMLs. exec4ever is modeling the BMP when he gets time and we're still looking for someone to model the AML. The design plan is in my sig.

Yeah I'm having technical difficulties on the SPG9 at the moment, no pictures that good, most cover up vital parts of the weapon making it impossible to model that section, and the PGO9 is hard to come by on google.

ahh nice, so they're going to have a tank killing technical in their arsenal??
and also, will the congo lads have anything in the way of air power?

That's right, I'm back, and as Pilot does not have as much time left, I'll take over again.

Pilot told me to do the original idea again of the conventional force of Congo itself.

I'll hustle the two design plans, and with the new content of .85 (AKs, etc), we'll only need some vehicles and some decent maps! I've spoken to Spush, and he's nearly finished the skins.

Godamn, after playing Far Cry 2 so much, my hopes are for this faction to make it!

Et, voila. I'm not sure about some weapons yet, 'cos a little variation from the AK would be nice as well

As you can see, most of the infantry stuff is done already, we'll need a decent map!

Some vehicles would be nice as well, but not necessary for the first build yet.

Anyway, any tips to change the weaponary or whatever are welcome! (no FALs lol)

I'll PM some people to ask if they're still wanting to do what they said before

I think that the (more common) Panhard AML would have fit better than the (rare) Cascavel EE-9, but whatever.

Any mistake with the Marskman weapons loadout ? Why does he get a regular scoped AK-74 ? And "Guerilla" with 3 magazines ? RPK (75 rounds) : how ?

Lots of Kalashnikov indeed ! (and no FAL either ) If you're looking for variation, AFAIK 0.85 will add new models : AKM, RPK-47 Al Quds, AKS-47(?), maybe a new AK-47 (Type 56) model too ? (just had a look to decrypted changelogs)

The new AKs are included in the design plan, and the marksman is getting the AK-74 Scoped as Congo is organized, but financial not up till the level of a conventional force.

And, yeah the Guerilla might get some more mags, but it should really be a light-weight ambusher kit.

So the marksman kit will basically be the same as the regular scoped rifleman? Then what will be the point of requesting that it when you can just spawn with it? Give the regular rifleman an unscoped AK47/74 instead?

And please go for a RPD as LMG like in GroundedPilots design plan, judging from photos they are quite widely used in the region and it's always nice with some variety.

There will be no scoped rifleman, instead there's the guerilla.

But, yeah the LMG is gonna be the new Al Qud's or whatever. Since it's got about the same looks, we could use it as placeholder.

How would that end up in Africa? Stick with Eastern-European and/or Chinese made equipment.

The Al Quds is essentially an RPK. We'll probably use it as a placeholder until we can find something better.

In the design plan you just posted it says that the regular rfileman will use the 1P29 on his Ak74... Guess (hope) that's a typo, then?
