What I wanted to say, in other words, if you ignore for a second that random shooting and inability of realistic movement, you can see nothing than beautifully made weapon models, amazing (but slow

) animations, significantly improved graphics, vehicles,...
Difference between today's PR and original Bf2 is really huge, PR .8 is almost completely different game compared to vanilla, and that is what that whole bunch of new players see.
Those new PR players are, I would say, quite happy with PR .8, their amount on the servers is quite constant or even growing.
That is because they didn't saw benefits of, for example, PR .5 infantry gameplay and how did life of PR's infantry soldier became harder and harder, release after release, which resulted in chronic lack of fun and adrenaline during infantry firefights.
New players can't see that cause they don't have nothing to compare with, except vanilla and they are currently enjoy benefits of, for example, slow movement etc.
Currently, mostly PR veterans are disappointed with .8, which is clearly seen from almost abandoned Thors, iGi,... popular meeting places of PR veterans.
Maybe I'm just optimistic by nature, but I see bright future of PR.
As we saw many releases before, things wasn't always great after major release, furthermore can't remember if there was any perfect major release, but, what is most important, DEV's are always fixing things up in patches afterwards.
So, I must say, I can't wait to .85, particularly after I've read Insurgency gameplay changes.
I think we should get ready for average amount of over 1000 PR players online, at evenings.
