On a serious note though I believe 2IC is a good admin despite the sometimes unprofessional attitude. Actively reacts to incidents and cares about upholding the teamwork on a decent level. Never had any negative experience with him personally.

About all the people that got banned on HOG for questionable reasons related to supporting other servers or being a clanmate of someone who violated the rules (apparently group responsiblity is a thing), best to just move on and leave the old drama behind. Especially now that we have Squad refugees trying PR out and all servers are doing their best, communities now have more room to breathe and grow, this is a chance to make 2-3 full english speaking servers a standard again, and HOG will be a part of it as the most reliable server with strictly enforced rules.

I noticed over the last 2 weeks there are barely any admins on.
Usually just TheButcher in prism, but he is permaafk.

I always wonder why people excuse shitty behaviour. Is the standard for admins in PR so low, that "reacting to incidents" is something positive? Is it not the bare minimum?
If players behave like the admins do, they get kicked/banned. Why are you all fine with admins behaving this way?
I gave a hundred examples of squires990 harrassing the playerbase, enough to get a normal player banned. But as admin he is somehow above their own rules?

While I must say that I also received an unjustified kick/ban that was promptly reversed after some player protest, I must say that HOG is the only server for the US and EU player base that maintains a certain standard of play through moderation.

Some players do not behave properly, and someone has to contain this behaviour in order for the experience not to degrade further. And while I can imagine that there might have been be some performance problems with certain moderators, I am grateful for those HOG admins that put in the work to give us the chance to play Project Reality in a controlled setting.

Welcome to the club, at least they don't insult you in the ban reasson. They sucks as admins everybody knows except the Devs apparently, they may try to join using a random name to be treated like the rest of the players.

So here is the thing:

Fisrt I got ban for saying "wtf is that report" to a false report.

Then i got ban for saying "FUCK ICE CREAM" wich now I kind of understand why becouse now is in the banned list of words, I didn't knew chinese people can feel offend, now some players explain when I ask in another server and well... ok, I can deal with it.

After that I didn't play anymore, but then 3 days ago or so I try to join and I got ban for reason: "idiot come to ban appeals"

That shows how they trate everybody by system, not a special case where 2IC has get mad no, just he's way of being.

What it has been said 20 times in this treath, they insult players they ban for no reasson and when u ask they keep insulting, they have such an impunity that they even do it in their own public forums.

Please devs in the name of hundreds of players, can at least have a warning this people?

I was about to spend the evening of my brithday yesterday playing my own game with my friends. But [FIN] daffugi decided to kick me from the server because I thanked for birthday wishes.

There were no warnings. The admin(s) were using all chat as well in that moment.

That's not cool. Being kicked out of your own game on your birthday. Because someone wished you happy birthday. At the same time when other admins used all chat too. Yet I was kicked. Maybe someone else as well, I don't know. I was the first one out.

So instead of spending my birthday playing PR with friends and thinking about further game development, I spent it writing a message to lead developers about me retiring from the PR dev team. Because this situation is FUBAR.

Thank you [FIN] daffugi, whoever the hell you are. I'm sure your admining will never be forgotten. Not by me, anyway.

The all chat rule stands for everyone(favoritism/less harsher punishment for known long time correctable/redirectable/likeable personality players observed, evidenced and debatable) even in the smallest instances at very random times when they suddenly flip the "All Chat enforcement switch". Sometimes they let ALL CHAT go on a while, other times they immediately say "stop".

Depends on the admin enforcing and the current player talking in all chat, repeated big all chat **** talkers, saying ridiculous non-game related topic discussions all the time repeatedly should be gone.

But not a DEV on his birthday trying to get birthday wishes. It is once a year just for clarification right? Not like you actually get on to play that often to cause trouble. You never know somebodies situation. What if a DEV was a now grown up orphan and/or recently divorced with nobody to say happy B-Day to them in real life because they have no family. So they came on to the game they helped make for happy birthday wishes then get kicked for it.

That could push a man who was an orphan who had a traumatic childhood, over the edge to drunkenly decide to commit suicide because tired of dealing with people and life while drinking on his birthday trying to have a good time. I know I've thought of it "What and why am I celebrating?".

Took a minute to type but one second for that empathetic possibility to flash as a situational image thought in my mind. I wouldn't have admin actioned just because of that risk of things I do not know for sure could happen. One of the few situations where if I am un-sure I DON'T just start blasting. Its supposed to be happy moment. Its simple, make a happy day for somebody by doing nothing. I like making good things happen by just doing nothing, meaning no effort on my part so I can say "I did that by doing nothing where I could have completely messed that up if I did something". Savvy?

I suspect it depends on who is speaking and saying what in terms of favoritism or typing ridiculous stuff, if they know them, how long been playing, like or dislike a player, other individual player infractions, how much the individual uses all chat to disrupt/taunt/debate/complain.

Never gotten explanation list or rule criteria for all chat, it just depends on the individual admin. I cannot detect the specific criteria they use to turn on that "all chat enforcement" switch the moment it happens. Seems like a "if it gets out of hand or could turn disruptive" type deal.

The way I avoid admins on HOG is 99% avoiding all chat. If I got something to say, I say it to my team. The rest is play the game, don't start arguments, mediate situations, guide problem players with alternative option before reporting behavior etc. Within that 1% abuse has happened to me twice over 7 years of playing PR. Like that logged incident with Daffugi about the logi situation on Grozny, where just playing the game the exact right way it was intended to be played, I get kicked. I don't take that **** for even an hour, straight to forums.

Suchar, I can assure you are essential to the DEV team. This game makes history as the first of its kind. Don't let this temporary issue put you off the great Project Reality. The fruit of Project Reality Virtual Reality will be sweet, all these years working for free will pay off.

Everyone trying to make a game diluting further the amount of gamers world wide for all games, its why games have few servers with few players because everyone is looking for a combat game to waste their entertainment life on. Project Reality is not a waste. Project Reality at its pace and style allows for growth mentally, spiritually, socially and if you use loading screen times and 40 second spawn timers right to exercise you grow physically .

Can't remember all things I have been admin for, only 2 admins I ever had issue with were Squires, Daffugi and when all of MERK HOG admins is on as admins at the same time. No current personal issues or head butting, the great admins are actually friendly people you can't even tell are admins.

I have no current personal issue in the last year with Daffugi (due to my avoidance of toxicity) except one grudge. One example being told by Daffugi to "leave logi in main" on Grozny(recorded complaint April or May 2022) despite nobody else asked or stated they were going to use it immediately.

Its very typical of me to run supplies and repairs, seeding crates on the map when none requested. He said "Put the logi back in main". I said "for what? for what?" and he kicked me thinking I said or pretending to hear I said "or what? or what?". Even though its not against the rules to solo a logi just because an admin said "leave logi in main". No explanation was given.

Daffugi would not have noticed if another player took logi later on soloing it even as a taxi unless somebody reported it. It was just something against me out of nowhere that round. Just me being 100% about tactics and teamwork, who needs what. He stated no intention to use logi himself, just wanted me to put it back. Which threatening admin action to obtain a non-claimable vehicle should be against the rules, you ask like any other player regardless of your server role as admin or player.

Especially when I use logi in every possible way it can be used as intended by the game for repairs, supplies and back to main for more supplies. In short. I was kicked/temp banned for running supply trips back to back, dropping repair station at the far north east Grozny map edge for our APCs that went out that way. Which is on my list of game tasks and activities which an admin made this key intended method of playing the game impossible for me.

My problems with Daffugi stopped after the complaint was made, they pulled him off me I speculate to see how things really flow when he isn't abusing admin powers. Which in turn prevented him from doing more impulsive admin action that would have him removed sooner.

I break no rules as usual and he ceased to make up rules based on his current mental state/emotions after.

Now I only have problems seeing players get wrongfully admin actioned by him, a lot of people need to be kicked/TB/or banned. I specifically check !admins for him only. I worry about no other admin currently. all other names that show up read as gibberish to my eyes, I only look for Daffugi. I thought I had his schedule down too on my tactic idea note pad.

Good thing I got my complaints on their forums which they banned me from for the complaint and giving mediation advice, my opinion on fairness and long posts in the discussion section on discussion topics.

Not like they actually read all that detailed bull mess I wrote in the complaint except to check for written bannable offense in the complaint. The head admin who approved my forum ban (likely requested by admin I made complaint against) put me off their forums isn't even around anymore.

This led to a lot of anger and confusion over this individual having power, just "Why?" and "how?" do you fall for the perfect employee interview that wants to manipulate and show you he is mature for the position he wants. Not hard to put on an act to get what you want, show manners, make people in power targets to make friends with, to gain a repour.


I honestly feel like the head admin position is possessed cause I have seen 2IC go from his normal self slowly turning into what Lespyd became on the forums. The only admin who never changes or never acting out of anger is Shabz. I would say he should be top, but then again that position might be possessed and I don't want to lose him to the demon.

Edit Note: In my reflections of what I said about the head admin position being possessed, that might possibly be all the negative energy from both rightfully and wrongfully banned/temp banned/kicked players directing negative thoughts and energy about the admins at the admins. Through the body and a computer, one energy source interacted with another. We are all energy without the body.... If this is wrong its just degenerative authoritarianism starting at professional appearance acting to get the job and ending in a rude tyranny.

Btw, HOG has been frequently without active admins recently. Personally, i think that's improvement.
