I am sincerely sorry if there is an issue with us playing archer, or placing it in our map votes. I would however not threaten my admins on their life, and suggest suicide. This is not appropriate and if you continue to do so I will start a process to have you removed permanently from our server.happygoogleboy wrote:stop putting archer in votes it makes me want to kill your admins then myself.
Right thanks HollywoodHOLLYWOODY wrote:https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f10-pr ... rvers.html
I think we are in the process of removing it. Either way, I also enjoy running people over.User_Name wrote:do you still have that rule against running enemy over . most retarded shit ever . one time i was inside a jeep in albasra in that m5/6 big bridge at the end of it i saw 2 ins trying to put mine so i drived fast and hit one of them and killed the other wich my gun i got kicked 1 min later for running over . like cmon you suppost to kill your enemy in any way possible . prta rules make me cringe . it great server and all but it look like bunch of snowflakes running it . it like the safe space of pr
Nope! Sorry.Wicca wrote:I think we are in the process of removing it.
aaaaw fuck...Temur wrote:Nope! Sorry.
We discussed this extensively both internally within the admin team and with the community as a whole. Basically we decided that excessively roadkilling (i.e. using your vehicle as a weapon and intentionally finding people and mowing them down), whilst a load of fun, is imbalanced and ruins the game for other players.
So it'll remain against the rules.
Checking your surroundings in PR and using your ears to hear vehicles coming is also OP i guess.Tommygun wrote:It is against the rules (roadkilling) but it depends on admins...Im a bit more relaxed than others about it. I personally feel roadkilling people right in front (or a bit to either side...) is fine but dont be circling back or chasing people down. My dad once hit a guy in his car and it really fucked up the car (and the guy), in PR that does not happen so it is OP.
Hope your dad's car and friend is ok.Tommygun wrote:It is against the rules (roadkilling) but it depends on admins...Im a bit more relaxed than others about it. Well, roadkilling has been against most servers rules the last decade. At this point I would say it doesn't fit PR gameplay. I would be pretty annoyed if 10 techies were roaming around one manned only driving people over. Sure, you can LAT them, but some maps have tons of cars.FFG wrote:Checking your surroundings in PR and using your ears to hear vehicles coming is also OP i guess.
Even on servers without a roadkilling rule that doesn't happen.Filamu wrote:Well, roadkilling has been against most servers rules the last decade. Excluding of course all the issues roadkilling has in this game.
And considering some vehicles are close to silent.
you should set a good example bro.Filamu wrote:Yep, I've seen several times a squad having fun with roadkilling, usually for most of a match (and have done it myself a few times).
I have no issues with running over a guy with a truck, but the problem is when they keep coming back.
Roadkilling has been against server rules for the last 2-3 years at most, started by PRTA's slightly over-caring ruleset which attempts to rule out common ways people play the game with. Only after PRTA added this rule, many other servers that came up afterwards basically copy-pasted their ruleset and voilá, had this rule in. HOG and DPRC were the only servers not to succumb to this silly rule.Filamu wrote:Well, roadkilling has been against most servers rules the last decade.
