I applied on your forums but I need "approval" from admin and I know that sometimes takes weeks so I am posting it here.

I got banned for "rules" which turned out to be bombcar in main. However I did not bombcar car the main, there was a LAV shooting from the dome of death on Fallujah about 50m north from the repair station. This is basically equivalent to mortars being fired in the dome of death.

Anyways, it was a permanent ban and I think that is a little rough since I've been playing on your server for years and did not even get a warning. Also I am well aware of your server rules and often squad lead.

Date was appx. nov 19-20 and map was fallujah 10pm roughly

I cannot deal with your ban but i will addres the needing of admin aproval. No such thing is needed when creating an account on our forums.

Just got kicked from the server for accidental first tk without warning by MasterG

He picked up an enemy AR kit and started shooting it, from the direction where there was enemys 30 seconds ago. So i obviously started shooting at him and tked him by accident.The first time i found it was a tk was when i got kicked which was how convinced i was it was enemy.

Hot headed admins seems to be coming a regular occurrence on this server, i highly suggest some higher admins start to sort this out because it is getting beyond a joke

EDIT: just heard that Master G kicked another person seconds after i got kicked for another accidental tk

EDIT2: Now just heard Master G (admin) got kicked from the server to "chill out"

If your admins cannot keep a cool head while playing, their rights need to be revoked

Almost everyone is on mumble with the new release, NwA haves lots of new members and the level of gameplay keeps increasing.

yes, granted the first part of my post was ranting. However it was necessary to give an example of the situation that i was going to give feedback on but the rest was all feedback about the administration of the server and how poor it can be at times

Your right... my issue was more about how the op was worded wrt being a complaint about a kick.

The Project Reality forums are not to be used as a platform for users to rant/debate being kicked or banned from game servers.

Giving feedback about Admins in general terms is fine. As per the guidelines

"This server is horrible. The server is poorly administrated and is populated by bad players who don't care about teamwork. I would avoid this if I were you".

Mentioning their name and giving a blow by blow account of how they failed along with giving furhter commentry on incidents which you didn't witness is probably overstepping the mark.....My suggestion would be that if you want to give specific feedback and don't want to sign up to their forums would be to PM one of their admins here - which I believe Smiddy appreciates now. I'm glad that his concerns have been responded to and is happy to move on - end result is hopefully positive

we have a few 'new' admins at the moment and mistakes will happen but the last 2 lines in your original post sort of contradict each other, moderation of that admin did indeed happen did it not ?

I've never had a kick or ban from the NWA server in all of my time playing, I recommend it as a good server that is very focused at providing a fun game for all levels of the community.

In short I think it's the playground where the smaller boys can play against and with the bigger boys and learn, all in a heavily moderated environment that is quick to warn any rule breakers.

I like the mix of players I find in there too, never a bad thing to teach a new guy some tricks.

Thanks Mike, a lot of the good players that now admin or belong to PR clans, started playing on our server. Then moved on to the more advanced servers. It is hard however to get the message across to some admins, its just a game, its about fun and providing an environment that is expected from a heavily teamwork base game.

For the players, play by the rules and have fun.

I've seen a lot of 'This server is amazing!'ish replies in here, and according to the guidelines for posting it is against the rules. Shouldn't you forum moderators start giving out infractions?

Either way I think there's a few rules that either are not working or players don't understand why it makes the game better, thus thinking why should they follow them. Also some rules are causing problems for our admins.

Blufor main attack is being abused. It is intended to be used as a tactic if the opfor come up against an organised blufor. It would help to disrupt the blufor as they need to defend their main. As it is in reality.
Sadly this is being abused by our trolling friend Tarra. He dosent break the rules but every round he can be found with a .50cal techy camping the main base. Along with some others.

Also spawning on unknown caches was intended to make the game last longer by not giving intel to the blufor. Due to opfor shooting rpg's from cache areas. This has turned into a ball ache for our admins. Also blufor has adapted to this rule and now send out cache hunting squads to go looking in known cache spawn areas. I see no point in this rule now the teams have adapted to it. It worked well for a while.

That's the main two rules I think we could change to make the server better.

Orford, gameplay > reality. There are 32 players on each team. There are simply not enough players to have someone defend the mainbase. It shouldn't be necessary either. If you think Blufor main is being abused, change the freaking rule.

It would become a whole lot worse if the rule was redacted.

Every time on Basrah I lead an infantry squad and go hunting for unknowns. Ask Arked, sele, Sincoza, Sebsterr, Vincent or pretty much anyone else in TS and they'll tell you how much easier it will be to find unknowns when there is more activity around them, especially when using the split n' search method.

One of the easiest ways to look is the instant someone is disciplined after spawning on an unknown, and wait for the sound of them dying. Its a great indicator moreso if the area is devoid of any movement, and usually leads to a cache.
