That would be because every sniper now days names his squad "recon" or "rcon" when they never do such a job. You rarely find a sniper that is mostly doing stationary spotting instead of shooting at everything he see's. And you even find full infantry squads named recon as well. None of these ever do any reconnaissance... and the guys who actually like to do such a job are almost never in a squad named recon.

My squad is almost always named "Sneakers" and I mostly do recon, sabotage and ambushing (rarely take sniper or marksman and don't feel the need for it). The squad tends to be locked so it stays small and with people who will actually do the job. I do invite by request as I have no problem with giving a chance to random guys if they have the interest.

Other names that tend to be used by me and/or some pals:

Ambush (self-explanatory)
Snickers (some prefer the chocolate)
MILF (Cougars joke)
=/ (forced SL)

Perite : F*** off in Latin

Ours is often 4[insertname], started out as 4ALLAH and has since been everything from 4STALIN to 4QUEEN (we were actually warned once for the Stalin one). As IDF we are often JUDEN POWER or any variant thereof

Once on "Siege Ocahamira" (or something like that) i made a squad CAS. yeah, people really joined and asked when the jet spawn and where will it be ;D

I found funny [only on german servers] when you getting about 5-6 squads and they all start with the same:
GER INF
GER INF 2
GER APC
GER TANK
GER TRANS
GER CAS

Tier 1/One < For 1337 attacks against the enemy and escaping death, only for lulz.

VOIP Inf < Go figure

Then an array of other names for the various needs of the team.
