I disagree with limiting the ZPUs. They're used in real life against ground targets, and BLUFOR has HATs, snipers, marksmen, ARs, LATs, would have CAS with this, APCs/IFVs with thermals - I don't see why there needs to be a super nerf when insurgents get a good asset.

Regardless of the angle the ZPUs are angled at they would still be able to be angled at the ground by simply driving up an incline but it's not something I'd be worried about because I think blufor would want to destroy the ZPU just as much as the insurgents would want to knock tha A-10 out of the sky.

One thing with the ZPU that could alleviate it's controversy, is give it some iron sights. The way it stands the operator has a super clear view of his direction of vision. Put some slightly obstructing sights, but leave it's ability to attack ground targets, and it satisfies both sides of the argument?
the real ZPU4 I assume has sights.

On Kokan the ZPU lasts about 2 mins and can't even be repaired unless someone's defending it with a stinger before a Kiowa gets there but in order to be there in time a starting cache would have to be like 200m from the ZPU. Likewise on Ia Drang I've already seen American anti-ZPU squads to knock em out right at the start.
