BF2s graphics are horrible. Low res texturing, horrible LOD and bad lighting effects. Not to mention DX9, which means no Tessellation.

I agree that the lighting is not very good, but the PR modellers do a great job with LOD's, the only kind of popping I notice is with the tops of mountains and hills disappearing. If you have your graphics settings maxed, the only bad textures seem to be the ground and some of the remaining vBF2 textures.
