MEC kits are lame,they look like bad joke,
they should be more like Syrian,Algerian,Moroccan or similar.
I can't believe that those reskined vanilla BF2 kits are still present in such a late version of mod.
I think that Su-24 should be added to MEC,because Su-25 is not comparable to Tornado,
Su-30MKK,F-15 and similar.Su-22 would be also do the job,
it is not best bomber but it is still used in ME and it is faster than Su-25,

Also I think MEC name should be changed to something semi realistic like there is going to be
military of A.U. faction.
Military of Arab Legaue or just Arab Legaue would do the job :

I saw this kind of questions and propositions many time on PR forum :
1) "MEC is fictional faction give them any weapon . . .",
2) "Why MEC uses G3 as a main rifle,AKs would be realistic",
3) "Why MEC is not removed from PR ?",
4) "Why MEC is not using more western weaponary (like Egypt or Saudi Arabia in real life) ?"
And I wish to answer :
1) MEC is maybe fictional,but ME countries and their armies are not fictional,
they exist in real life and MEC in PR have arsenal based on all of ME countries,
examples : T72 most of the ME armies are using this tank today and will probably use it for years to come,
BMP3 Kuwait and UAE,RPG-26 is used by Jordan,Mi-28 is starting to be used by Algeria etc. . . .
Only weapon that I saw in PR at MEC side that no ME countrie is posesing is Siga shotgun.
2)Most of the ME countries are using AK-47 and AKM copies from China and ex WP countries,
alongside Russian one,but G3 is also used,it is not so usual as the AKMs but in my personal studing
of which rifles are mostly manufactured in ME countries,G3 is definitly the case,
Sudan is manufacturing their own G3s called Dinar,MG3s aswell,Saudi Arabia also have their own
copies,Iran is also making their copies in DIO factories.And there are also many other ME
countries that have good amount from them that are purchased,
as for AKs I think that it would be good to include them as a alternate kit loadout on some maps
alongside PSO optics.
3) Why it would be ? MEC can be place holder for any ME Arabic country,
they all speak Arabian (exept Iran (I think that Iran should be made as a independent faction))
they all uses similar weapons.
4) Because it would be lame to fight US army or Canada or Germany with same weapons,
and Soviet and Chinese equipment are majority on ME compared to old western one.

Pakistan Is not Mideast . . . Pakistan is part of Southern Asia,
but it is true that uses and manufacture G3s it is their main rifle,
it is also that MEC soldiers in PR looks like Pakistani ones.
But people must know differences betwen Arab world,Iran,Pakistan etc.
They are for many people just bunch of coloured,long beared muslim people,
and they are puting them in the same basket,but you all should learn something before post something like that.
I is same like someone say that Brits,Czechs,Greeks and Italians are the same.

Marines would nice add on,
it can be based on Algerian marines,and can use different camos,
AKs with PSOs,QBZ-81s,PM md.63s and similar.
