yeah I'm getting 'access denied' when I tried to extract the files to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2

If you cant extract them to Battlefield2 folder, extravt them elsewhere and then copy them to battlefield2 folder. Battlefield 2, where you .exes are, not battlefield2/mods/bf2 or anything just root batlefield2. Hope you get it sorted :)

- Use "sevenzip" instead of winrar oder winzip to extract the file.

- Extract it to C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2

- When it asks if you want to overwrite the folders/files, click yes.

...... and everything is working fine again ;-)

About the changelog: You do realise 1200 rpm is not possible on the BF2 engine? If you set the weapon to 1200rpm it shot 900rpm ingame...

Thats why it has been lowered. It was a mistake on the first place.
The weapon was set to 1200 even though thats not possible and the maximum is 900. But it's 600 now anyway :D

Actually, the maximum is 1800. The MG81 in Fh2 uses that and it works, fires 1 shot per server tick.

You didn't know? 1.0 is done in the same shelude as all previous releases: When its done.

Its kinda hard to get a team of volunteers to pull of a release on a exact date, if you think about it...

That is because I thought DEVs decided to forget about the forthcoming PR patch, as there are no highlights at all. I really thought they concentrated on PRV, PRN or PRF, forgetting about PR itself.

While this was quite true for PRV, minimods like PRN and PRF are side projects of sole devs, respectively [R-DEV]AfterDune and [R-DEV]Rhino. Rest of the team is working on the next release, which is btw sheluded to include PRV.

That is from my point of view, anyway.
