This is getting really quite painful to watch now so while no one has 100% got it, there have been a few pretty close guesses as to what's different so I'm just going to tell you now :p

Technically, you guys have seen the Westland Wessex before in PR:F, BUT before it was only a reskinned Sikorsky H-34 Choctaw.

Now it has been modified into a proper Wessex (which is a British license built version of the H-34 with quite a few modifications), with a new nose, exhausts, undercarriage and a few other changes here and there and Spush has made a brand new texture for it (texture isn't final yet) ;)

Too fit a much larger engine in it than it was originally designed for :p

For f*ck sake this chopper is so ugly... (not the model/texture, the chopper itself)

Back in 1954/1956 they didn't have many previous chopper designs to go on for inspiration on how a chopper should look :p

Those first choppers had HUGE radial petrolengines in the nose, things got a lot better when turboshaft came along which were small enough to go on the top between the load area and rotors.

I didn't know it was the French who started them and the first chopper was the Alouette.

typical british helicopter modification.

"well this chopper is jolly good an' all, but couldn't we put a more powerful engine in?"

"by jove you're on to something, we bloody well can!"

And then they go about it by adding a nose onto the nose and putting some chicken wire over a hole for an air vent :p
