I didn't know what to make of it myself, i was gonna reply to it...

I figured TG had been privately informed that v1.0 was near at hand and therefore decided to bring back the server. Might still be right if the release is in the next three months, although it's dicey. The media would have to start gearing up quick now.

Let's see what happens on April Fools. I think we'll see some legit information.

Solli guise, but the PR 0.999 patch will be released about one year before 1.0 due to marketing strategies.

The 0.999 patch will include a cosmetic update to the house of pain. The introduction to the release of French forces will be in the form of a logistics truck (imported from the Vietnam mini-mod with French flag pasted over and women in the back smoking cigarettes [If you right-click to off-load them, they dance the Can-can]) .

Most of the content (the French flag texture) will be available as an obligatory donation package (US$99.99). They will use these donations to purchase Kickstarter advert space and Google search rank. The Kickstarter project is for gamers to pledge EA fealty where they will receive, in return, SimCity3 addons!

I do have a feeling in my guts it will be a Devcast that shows us cool new feature yet are fake. Like fastropes or something.

EDIT: Out of curiosity I checked the YT channel of Project Reality. There are 41 videos total, yet only 39 are public. Means 2 hidden. Can't prove if they have the 41 videos for quite some time now.
