How classified are blue force tracker, fbcb2 etc? Wouldn't the best option for pr be to replicate one of the real life c2 systems in use as the commander interface (and as part of the design assume everyone else is using it properly as part of the system to remove complexity from the system and make it usable in pubs)?
If the commander loses some functionality, so be it. Command isn't easy even with good C2 systems.

Eh, I wish there could be different ones, like if you are in a vehicle you get the current one like an FBCB2, and a topographical map if you are on foot. If only. I can only think on one overcomplicated way.
