So after drumming I went to the record room and asked, if it would be okay recording some sentences.
It was really weird^^

Sounds great! Did you mastered these voices after recording?

I don't know what you mean by mastered, but this is unedited material.
This is just a sampler for showing the recording-quality and voice. But thx anyway

You can add boost some lower frequencies to make your voice sound less young in Audacity for example.

The german voice imo could sound lower, but not sure if audio program gets the right result... Also, imo the german recording there is really nice, though some it "older german" (How people spoke german 20 years ago or so) might sound even more german-forces-authentic...

I'd be more than willing to do the voices (British) but the only recording software I have is a USB headphone mic... It's a lifechat LX3000? Somehow i doubt that'd be good enough

I can do mastering... Send me what you've got and I'll clean it up for you, normalize, EQ, compress, limit/maximize, all that good stuff.

Or... cancel that... I don't want to step on anyone's toes around here. Anders is your man for that.

So for US-Commander voice we actually need a 50+ man...

xD (Would at least sound somehow "quite qualified/experienced" as commander...

)

I saw earlier in the thread that the French voices are rather silly. I happen to know a man and his brother that speak French fluently (they are from France), and guess what, they work at a recording studio! One of them has a higher voice than the other, so I think SL and Grunt could be different there.
Anders if you are interested in replacing the French voices (cause I believe they are vBF2 original are they not?), then PM and I'll ask him if he's up for it.
