It's very obvious that it's getting DDOSed, or at least not anything related to Mumble.
Also, again, Mineral got told by AncientMan, before he went to sleep, that the servers was getting attacked. That was more or less the reason he went to bed, since he would be unable to patch it.

I only see one "unofficial" and it might not be so unofficial since there's always a dev in it.

AM went to sleep because he was up for 43 hours.
When I was playing, shortly after the DL went live in Rivers squad, he was telling us why the server was lagging. NOT because of DDoS, but because of the new mumble integration they have. I was in IRC and in game. I was there. If you still refuse to understand, then fine.
PS# Passwords for server should be 123

I thought the password to RustyAnalKeys was RustyAnalKeys, turns out it wasn't. Why are all these servers being passworded in the first place?

theyre unofficial, so it is required, similar to the way the normandy servers required a password.
Anyways, if you want the password to rustyanalkeys, just google the server name and youll find it. Make sure safe search is off

Wait a second, looks like they've changed it. Apparently "PR Players were desperate enough to play the beta that they guessed the password and flooded the server and made it lag city." Standby for further information on servers.

Wow, the lag on the 123 server disappeared almost completely (atleast for me) and it was just a friggin amazing experience (could have been much much better with mumble tho
).

RustyAnalKeys password "Facepunch" doesn't work.
Despite having a 370 mms ping on the 123 server, I rarely received lag at all!
Though I had some lag and a temporary bug when I switched between scope to backup sight that allowed me to aim with the zoom effect. There was some lag at some time, but it was as smooth as silk for me!

anyone else having issues joining either of the '123' servers? I keep refreshing and trying to join when the pop dips below 64 but I'm always told that the server is full. I refuse to believe that after 30+ min someone has always been beating me...
