Just compare the density of stuff on Dovre to the density on 4km maps to get an idea.
Detailed 4km maps have large areas of the same stuff (desert (Kashan, Khami), grass (Yamalia), water (Saaremaa, Pavlovsk) in order to be able to be more detailed in some spots. They are still generally less detailed than 2km or 1km maps.
And that's coming from me, and I don't even know anything about mapping.
Long story short: Dovre-environment is simply impossible on 4km scale without completely breaking environmental realism/immersion for the map.

dont you understand that we are all very nicely trying to tell you that you cant just go and edit the official pr maps without permission of the devs, and you are definetivly not getting it the way you are trying.

The rights to this map is with the Norwegian faction, so how about this;
If you show me a more detailed plan of what you intend to do, with a few pictures to show what you are going to make, maybe we can see for certain weather it would work or not. If it happens to work, I see no reason not to give you chance to learn the editor and try it out.
But I would rather make a completely different map from scratch if I was you.
