I like to think of it as the "God kit" and continue on with my day. It's just too much fun.

I don't get how this is a problem. In FH2 we only issue silenced weapons to the Royal Marine Commandos, but that is because they used them historically. PR is basically speculative anyway (what with China and Russia fighting the US etc.), so why not include them into kits?

Because they aren't realistic. Having a fictional CATA is necessary to have a game at all, that's a compromise to have a game in the first place since the last conventional wars with NATO nations were either very one sided (Gulf Wars) or getting very dated (Falklands).
The rule was established years ago: PR is about conventional line infantry, not speshal squirrels. PR used to have an SF class, and it was eliminated after much debate and discussion because it was unrealistic and promoted unrealistic and undesirable gameplay. This isn't a discussion in isolation, it's a discussion in reference to a comprehensive discussion that happened five years ago.

The suppressor has been removed from the Breacher kit now, the next patch will contain this update.

The whole point of PR is that you are not any more special than anyone else; so everyone works as a team(ideally as equally effective and necessary part of a team).

The whole 'oh it's unrealistic' thing is suck a crock. God forbid the devs try make the game a little bit more interesting

it's not even a major thing for christ sake. I would have preferred a poll on this one because it's just seems like a vocal minority that want it gone

Or perhaps we should make a poll on "who should go play battlefield4/callofdooty" and you will get most of the votes.
It's not just because it's unrealistic; it's because being "special" isn't what PR is about(at least, it's not why most people play PR for).

Let's close this thread, it served its purpose.
Edit: no probs, spec

It is just PR's design philosophy. Most of the game is indeed strictly "no SF" for a reason.
Exception being the pretty SF-y refreaction of Black Hawk Down. So perhaps this type of thing should be decided on a map to map basis, so that if SF are included, they include the whole team, not parts of it. But that's just my personal view.
If someone wants to make a community project for a Dutch SF map that has suppressors and stuff in it for most kits, then go ahead., I'd say.
Edit: Whoops, sorry AD. Ninja'd me.
