I found a beautiful thing. Bind keys to your volume of mumble. I have my plus / minus key from numpad to reduce the volume and it quiets down the chatter when I'm in a delicate situation.

I know it is not instant pudding and you do have to work a bit to turn down the volume but it still works great!

i do the same as swamp same keys too witch is kinda weird.

it has a bonus feature of allowing you to adjust volume to help with hearing over vehicles

One practical solution to avoiding mumble spam is "kicking" who does it inside the squad. And how to do that?
A: Squad leaders may use the "KICK" button to remove the member that is spamming the squad mumble.

In "spam all mumble", the R-DEV team can remove the "ALL MUMBLE (*)" from SL's, and leave this function only with the Commander, because the commander's function is to filter all the information he receives and pass them on to SL's. And if Commander is spamming in the "All Mumble", 60% of SL's withdraw it using the new "mutiny" button.

For someone who plays PR forever AND someone who really likes a good CQB (with the fantastically useful local audio), the amount of useless radio chatter is insane. It's really awfully exhausting and I can barely play PR because of it. Can we please get a freaking RADIO OFF button?
If you don't think there is anything wrong, just wait few years, you'll see, it will drive you mad.

Very reasonable, local mumble is still active too then, presuming you meant in-game squad (and not local mumble squad).
