Knowing that no one will ruin the day by putting on insurgency after two hours of seeding makes the server a lot more appealing even with low numbers. ;)

The admins should definitely spend some more time trying to balance things. Every clan can take initiative and balance, yesterday(?) we had the problem that after a steamroll pretty much everyone balanced to the other team, and the server ended up with terrible unbalance again. I feel like the admins should communicate with the other clans a bit more.

Apart from the occasional steamroll streaks, great games in the past few days.

Noted. Yeah, we need to work on this a lot more. Seems like switching couple OD-S guys does not work.

Nice to see the server populated even more now! We're doing what we can about balance, but its not an easy task. We'll figure it out soon. ;)

Its nice to see ODS guys leading pub squads on both sides virtually every round. We already got a bunch of new people who have managed to learn to play the game properly by playing in squads lead by Cossack, Filamu, Jedishroom and Webcole. Big up muh nagas!

We had a bunch of really close rounds yesterday, 4-0 and 27-0 back to back IIRC. So it's not all bad :]

The server will be offline for a couple of days starting tomorrow because of some behind the scenes technical work. We'll let you know as soon as we're back!

As far as I can say:
- good administration
- decent map choices
- balanced teams

The games I played were very balanced and on good maps. This made the experience very tense and so I enjoyed being on your server, adding you to my other favorites.

Excellent map choices, good teamwork and good admins doing their job quick and effective without drama.

So to improve we need more drama?
Thanks for the feedback.

Today we had a perfect, and stable server, with lots of good games. New server seem to do the trick.

Good to hear that everything is good! Apparently I use the banhammer too fast though, according to Filamu. :(

This is my favourite server now. OD-S is the only server I know which actually enforces the mics only rule (both in the rules AND IN-GAME). You guys also choose maps which are appropriate for the playercount and server demographics (eg. You only play 4km Asset Fests if both teams are filled with experienced players), which I really appreciate. 2km maps are the best!

10/10 I just wished I didn't live on the other side of the world so I could play with you guys more often!

EDIT: Another nice quality about this server is that they don't leave the server running if they know no more admins will be left for the next round.

Thank you for kind words.

Actually we dont do 4km maps (with exceptions), because they are asset fests and infantry combat is really boring. The server in emphasizing on Infantry friendly maps, so you will not see Kashan played here for long time.

About mic rule, yeah, we think that mic is part of PR gameplay and is required.

Enjoy your stay.

Also, for got to add, we don't like insurgency so we don't play it either

I like this server.
10/10 would play again.

Also good balance between noobs and veterans.

Really great to see all those ODS peeps leading public INF squads.
Good shit dudes.

Thanks for the feedback. I would personally like to see more vets playing on our server. We do what we can to get good teamwork going, leading pub squads has had a nice effect of teaching new guys how to play. We see the same guys joining and slowly leading squads themselves!

Super mega steamrolling today (Saaremaa -> Gaza -> Dovre).

I feel like this server has all the right policies and is able to consistently enforce the rules, so theoretically it should be the best server ever ever forever.

But I guess there's only so much the admins can do when there are 3 "free-kit" squads on one team, and a bunch of experienced PR pros on the other side. An experienced player will see a poorly-organized team and try to join the other team, or leave the server; so naturally throughout the progress of the match, one team will become far stronger than the other team, because one team accumulates all the rookies.

Yeah, I just realized that maybe I wrote my earlier feedback in a confusing way. I was not suggesting to play less 4km maps; I just really like the fact that you guys focus on 2km AAS maps. :D

I was the only admin on at that time. Its extremely hard to organize 2 teams at such a late hour, apologies for that. We do our best, but sometimes there just isnt enough material to work with to effectively balance everything all the time.
