We got closer to pre 1.0 firefights where deviation was much harsher and fights much longer and more intense. The new recoil is good and improves gameplay alot.

900RPM weapons being vastly superior to everything else doesn't sound exactly good for balance. New deviation is rubbish, and it's possible to get out-shot even when you're behind someone, if they get lucky.

Archosaurus you're talking out of your arse. Deviation barely got changed between 1.2 and 1.3. The damage has also stayed the same. As for hit detection that's all pretty much hardcoded.

Huh. Are you sure? If the game files say so, then it should be right.
Maybe it's just a combination of recoil and terrible luck recently. I'm fairly sure I was not this lousy a shot before 1.3.

The reason is either lower damage, bad hit detection or higher deviation.
I much so preferred the first time we got "accurate" deviation. It was glorious.
are you shooting with a blindfold..? I haven't really noticed any significant difference, if you don't count in the AK-74M recoil improvement.
H&K G3 though, (still) has ridiculous recoil. I guess that's another story then.

Guns are okay, singleplayer testing resulted in every rifle killing in two leg shots.
