No it doesn't lol. You need to learn how to do it properly for it to be useful, it requires practice and timing. I don't see how that has anything to do with this anyways. I couldn't care less about if dolphin diving is effective or not in-game. Anyways I even kind of apologized for overreacting a bit and explained why I wrote what I did. So I dont understand what you're trying to say here other than trying to insult me somehow. I don't get why me expressing my initial concerns personally offended some people. Will the French Faction be expanded to any existing PR maps in the future? I'd love to see the French in Lashkar Valley on a ALT INS Layer.

I really don't see why you're so upset about this. Saying that putting a deviation indicator on the HUD is taking an advantage away from experienced players is saying that beginners should be punished for not knowing obscure gameplay mechanics that were implemented only because PR uses a crappy 10-year old engine with severe limitations.Psyko wrote:Kk...all joking aside, i'm being serious now.

To rephrase what someone else said, if PR were on a newer engine, there would be a realistic visual indicator like weapon sway to show how stable you are. Because that's impossible in PR, a small deviation indicator seems like a perfectly reasonable solution. Plus, counting to 8 before firing your AR is definitely not skill. It's being able to count to 8.
So to answer your question of why: Because it's realistic to give some kind of indication of how stable to are when firing (now there is absolutely no indication) and because it makes the game more accessible without dumbing it down (like I said, you don't have to be a hardcore PR vet to count).
