2.3. Do not fire into the enemy main base. Firing out of your own main is allowed.

This is a really stupid rule. If anything you should be allowed to fire back, but according to admins in game your are not.

It lets you defend a couple of flags on a map like Qwai with no chance for the attacker to touch you. Simply no shooting in or out of main like other servers have it seems more reasonable

Maps like Qwai really break that rule.

A "simply do not shoot out of / into main" also has a lot of problems.
WHEN are attackers actually allowed to shoot into main (or defenders out of it)?. Outside the building? Outside the compound? A bit in front of the main? Outside DOD (which will always be broken)?

If you look at the pros and cons our solution turns out to be the best in our opinion. Yes, it is harder to take the last flag sometimes, but atleast the "main base" question is always clear, no matter what happens.

Its in some ways a clear rule, but in the qwai game we had earlier today on your server it lead to some problems. We had pushed your whole team back to temple, with little resistance, but because of this rule one of the admins and his APC squad felt that it justified sitting in main with all the heavy assets and ensuring that our hold of temple mostly consisted of hiding and picking of any infantry that walked in. There they just sat, protected by a rule, and kept firing. They fair way to avoid this would have been to push out as soon as possible, but they didnt. There should be a rule or at least hint that extended firing out of main should be avoided.

You have same questions with your rule too. When are you allowed to shoot at someone shooting from DoD? What is considered main? There will always be those cases. It is also a bit weird that a tank can freely shoot from main, but building a TOW would be a no-go.

Is nazism/racism tolerated here? It seems as if it is judging by admin response. Had a guy "Iceman11" drawing swastikas and spamming on map as commander. Reported him multiple times both for trolling and drawing swastikas. After maybe 5 minutes admins responded with a kick.

EDIT: The round immediately after (started ~1h before this edit) there was so much trolling on our side without any admin response that it's not even funny. Me & Mac.PR sent an absoulte insane amount of reports that entire round without any sort of admin response. (Heli getting shot at by friends so that he's smoking, people trolling in main, people smoking main, friendly APC tk'd by LAT). If this persists I'm definitely not playing here any more.

You are making a game design problem into an admin problem.There are so many game design flaws in the game that needs admining like this.

How is he making a game design flaw an admin issue?

He is saying that it isn't a good idea to allow the team to fire out of main without being fired apon.

If a simple don't fire out of main, don't fire into main rule was there. The admin issue becomes black and white to deal with.

Not to mention, if your backed all the way into your main base. The admins have probably already failed seen as the teams are so imbalanced that it has happened.

This is unacceptable, i completely missed the swastika when i was in game. Seriously wtf?

Don't see any connotations that this swastika is the nazi one. Though Icemann11 is known for his trollish behavior, so it must be it.

It's not really relevant that it's a 45 degree altered version. Unless you're from India or Bangladesh or w/e the swastika is still in prominent use as a symbol of luck, drawing it on a German-based server of all places, as a European, is stupid and leaves no room for interpretations. He might as well say "ban me please".

the problem is in germany it is still forbidden, so if we don?t handle it by ourself, we also can face some charges from the police. Thats why it is a banable reason.
In the german law, you have to make it clear that it is a sawstika and not a forbidden symbol by german law.

And even than you maybe will get some troubles.

I like how you say that it dosen't matter that its not 45 degree altered version.
Since one is legal and other one is not.
