Like everything in game and life G3 is good and bad, same as AK,M4, SA80 blah blah yes for variety I'd love to mix it up a bit based on Saudi army.
After 7 years with MEC G3 and very rarely MP5 I'd like one or two little changes.
Even for a small change - say medic alt unscoped MP5 would that need a new animation or does it not work like that?

MEC is great from infy,armor,air... its one of those(only) faction's that need a lot of team work in-order to win and have a great round...
you just had a bad experience with the G3, that's all someday you'll learn how to use it.
you don't like it then get a crewman kit and go kill shit with the MP5....
no one will ever listen to you if you keep saying G3 SUX G3 IS SHIT....

I see absolutely no issues with the G3 or the MEC weapons in general. Unlike the AK74m which really had issues in past releases, the G3 works as intended. The scope is not the greatest for CQB, but so is the Russian one (even with BUIS). However the G3 is really good at longer ranges and paired with the MG3 makes MEC very deadly. They also get the best shotgun for CQB.

While I catch your drift it's really not that big of a deal anymore, logistics have massively improved over the last decades and more armies have come to the realization that logistics are key to winning a war. Whether you use 2 or even 3 different types of ammo doesn't matter as long as the truck/helicopter you're sending it with reaches his destination.

G3 seems pretty authentic for MEC. It is a standard issue for Pakistan army, this I know for sure. Pakistan even has acquired licence to produce it locally with slight variation and this version is exported to many ME countries.

Funny for how much G3 suck i use crewman kit for (mp5) for more use gun but that kit is useless in sq because he cant review people, give ammo or destroy FOBs.
Where G3 recoil is on steroid and must be ban until he going to be fix. Or it feels like he is holding gun whit hes foot and shooting not hes hands. And that Aprils fools joke going for to long time

I hate myself for saying this, but learn to play. If you're struggling with the G3 you're the ones that need to improve, not the faction.

What's wrong with that?, so many factions with aks &?. In real life you fight with several different weapons, no matters, So you're telling us that the G3 has a different sound and other weapon has another so..
So you guys can't play with the same weapon sound? if you're saying thats real life, ight.

Hmm, thought armies were going towards standard ammunition everywhere currently. E.g. Infanterist der Zukunft for Germany has that as one big part.
Also thought that this is one of the reasons behind NATO standard etc. eitherway, not happening

Finland uses 7,62x39mm for their assault rifles (RK62, RK95) and for light machine gun (KvKK 62), but they use 7.62x53R for PKM. They also have some MG3 in service (7.62x51mm ) + some G36 (5.56x45mm NATO). Those two aforementioned weapons aren't used in large numbers in FDF though.
So yeah. There is some caliber variety right there.

That is something different,having MG using different ammo is
normal thing in most countries.
Usage of several different assault rifles at the same time is thing
of unconventional force.
Finland use MG3 only on vehicles that were imported from Germany,
as that is part of package.
G36 is used by Finnish border Guard,which is paramilitary.

Oh and i doubt anyone cares, but the g36 used by border guard is only used by the Border guard's 1337 special response force. The other people gets the good old Rk
But anyway, g3 with scope is full auto sniper. I'd prefer g3 over many weapons, but i gotta admit its prety love hate relationship.

The MEC used to have the HK21 before the MG3.
But it got removed and "replaced by a more realistic, custom model".

If you cannot control recoil and cannot aim that is a piss poor reason to ask for a weapon to be changed.
I'm just reading a bunch of spray and pray noobs who don't want to learn how to make shots count.

Also my issue with adding an AKM to MEC is there are already how many other factions that use the AK as a main weapon? Simply put we don't need to ruin the originality and fun of MEC because a subsection of players cannot shoot worth a damn.
I swear if you spent half as much time practicing with the weapon as you have trying to get it removed you might actually have learned to use it properly.

I think I said it like three times make it alt weapon for rifleman only, but yeah. I wanted some "new" things for MEC, not G3 removed.
