'[KSK wrote:S1C3;2194699']But how often is that happening?
We ban a lot of people every day due to cheating/griefing. You would be surprised. With such high numbers, mistakes are unavoidable.
'[KSK wrote:S1C3;2194699']then they get Banned and you have silence for the next hours
Not really. They are able to return 10 minutes later, with different nick, IP and hash. The only way to prevent them from joining the server is turning on 'hard whitelist', which prevents everyone with new hash from joining the server - so not only cheaters, but new players as well.
'[KSK wrote:S1C3;2194699']I saw my Gunner got Banned with the reason "Bye".
This reason is used by some of our admins to ban people suspected of being a part of the cheaters group.
Because, as I said, we ban a lot of people with such suspicion, we are not able to investigate everyone to be 100% sure (not to say that it's impossible to be 100% sure since they change their nicks, IPs and hashes --> which are the only ways to identify them).
If our staff made a mistake, I'd like to fix it. But I need your help.
'[KSK wrote:S1C3;2194699']I asked my mater on Teamspeak if he could politely ask the guy that Banned me for the reason of this and if he could unban me (maybe it was a mistake) he got the answer "I don´t give a fuck". Ok, thank you PRTA !
I will launch an investigation regarding a possibility of an admin abuse, but I need more informations. Would like to change your mind and send me your nicks (here or PM)?
'[KSK wrote:S1C3;2194699']I think PRTA is not as good either.
We do our best to keep PR alive. Our activity is not limited to the PR server itself. We host events (manhunt, onelife), we even provide an alternative for PR Tournament since it did not started last year. I personally do whatever is possible to keep PRTA admin staff as community-friendly as possible. Also, I'd like to change your mind about PRTA. Perhaps you would like to help me make the PRTA staff better?
