Heh. If you love her, tell her. Also tell her that your love doesn't depend on things like whether you are on AIM or MSN or not. Also, if you are able to explain it, quote her this passage from Kahlil Gibran's "The Prophet".

Just tell her you need time for yourself. You don't have to be available to your girlfriend all the time, the same way she probably has other things to do in her life (huh, shopping ?). And girls love to talk all the time, sometimes mine spends 30 minutes explaining over the phone how her day went. While I'm shooting ragheads in PR...

Been with my misses ten years this year. Im online everynight,all night whilst she's downstairs watching sky. Perfect marrage if you ask me

Unless you live together it will almost be impossible to to please her and your gaming needs at the same time.

Someone had me reading this book a few monthes ago and it's great. Anyone having trouble with their GF could use the advise from this book (if only to find well written points to defend your playing when she'd have you doing something else).
