Agreed on the suffering part. If the CCV is destroyed, it should feel like a big "oh, shite, no!" to all players on that team.

But if the team stays handicapped for 10 minutes.. what should the commander do in the mean time? Can he still do stuff? (I sure hope so, wouldn't be fun being commander otherwise :o )

Well maybe he could still services the squads with arty and supply and VOIP, although the accuracy of these resources should be heavily decreased.

Also a map with a grid should still be accessible but not the zoom and the point an order function on the map.

NB: I have no idea if this is possible to do with the engine.

Exactly !

In that time commander and engs are involved in rescuing and repairing CCV.

During that time theres no air/armour respawning, no arty, no supply drops no coordinated attacks, no overhead camera, no UAV (if we will have one ingame) etc...

Troops on ground shud really get crippled and function only on primary squad basis...

Maybe the loss of the CCV would also include no mini map indicators telling friend from foe?

Just not sure i guess... maybe the challenge is too hard for the community as a whole? Maybe it would create more frustrations than the opposite?

:? : Btw is there a word in the English langue for the opposite of frustration?

*kick*

And: I think 'satisfaction' is the opposite of frustration.

Btw, devs, regarding this topic, is something like this even possible?
Or are you gonna give us the oh-so-familiar " ;) "?

:D
