. Well yeah, I've put quite a lot of programming-hours in that tool.
You got any suggestions how to do this? I don't want to create a new topic for this, if it isn't necessary (want to keep the forum clean, without making multiple threads about the same thing

).
I already made a new thread in the Tournament forums, we have alot of odd threads anyway
http://tournament.realitymod.com/showthread.php?t=10445
I will try to think of some ideas. Maybe you can try to use it in onn of your teamwork nights. Then when you tell about the outcome and all that stuff, say that you used this program and bla bla bla. People will probably take a look then.

You gonna have the overlay thingy working? That would be the best part of it

Correct

. Back then you were working on some commander tutorial / training program.

Overlay? Or do you mean the "important locations" part? Explain

.

I remember someoen said there was an overlay thing, liek on xfire. So you could just pop it up in the heat of battle.

Ah that, I remember now

. Well, soemone said it would be a good thing to implement (widget/plugin) it in an xfire-like application, called PLAYXPERT (
http://www.playxpert.com; still under development I believe, but available for the public). You can create plugins or widgets, where you'll be able to put something like the Battle Planner in (for example). What such a plugin does, is that it displays a web site on top of your game (transparent by default) >>
like here.
I'm not going to create such a thing, since I'm not really into playxpert. I prefer Xfire and hope features like that are added to a newer version someday. If that is the case, I'll certainly look into it.

Hey man, good work and a lot of effort. Applaus....
I know what you mean by "think nobody is using it/wants it" but it might just be that the web appl is so mature that it leaves little to comment on. So silence could be good.
Again, good work.

Start post editted. It now contains all the features of the tool and gives new guys a break, so they don't have to read the entire thread from front to back; the starting post says enough.
