If you have that big of a problem with the SP, then why dont you join and help instead of just complaining? Maybe you'll end up doing something useful for a change.

Maybe it would help if there were tutorials to do all this modding stuff, and have them in English instead of technobabble.

I've searched for tutorials covering mapping (the only thing other than skinning that I'm capable of doing), and each one has conflicting information/technical **** that I can't understand.

Well you're either telling them it's too hard to learn the modding stuff so they should do it or it's so hard to learn it they should make some kind of guide...

Not everything in life comes with an easy-to-follow step-by-step guide. Modding is one of those things in the list.

Like many other Devs, I had no prior experience in modding before joining the team...but that didnt stop us. Nice excuse though

PS: Dont expect the "Modding in 3 easy-to-follow-steps" guide. It just won't happen.

Unlike you guys, my brain isn't wired for experimentation to figure out how to mod. You guys had to tweak a file, see what happens, and adjust accordingly to figure out how it worked, right? It takes me forever to figure that pattern out, if at all.

Example:

Just the other day, I was trying to add more realistic sounds to the CQB mod. There were 2 sounds for the rifle, and both sounded exactly the same, so I just overwrote both of them with the same file. Well, the sound in semi-auto worked fine. But in full-auto, there would be only 2 or 3 audible shots per 30 rounds. I couldn't figure out what in the hell was wrong.

The video, the sound, the editing - all of it!
I downloaded the 50mb version, played it with VLC, full screen, and I swear the footage of the Kashan map looks like the stuff you see on CNN (very realistic). Even thou I've been running the OB's since the the first one came out, watching the video made the hair on my arms stand up . As for people saying you didn't show this ,didn't show that, stfu ,please. It's a promotional video (key word being "to promote") You can not show everything in a 5 minute clip.
