I loved:
karkand 2 Very good map for infantary
Inishnail forest
Mao valey Another great map, wich was better without group cp's
Steel thunder 16 (for infantary 6x6 was great)
CPAbadan without the atanks/choppers
Oasis on the first versions, Artilhary, Smoke, Rush
Mashtur was also very nice
Didnt liked much the Sharqi peninsula

my favorites were: steel thunder and oasis

oasis you could really use some fire and manuever tactics, but it was way too small. Simply could not fit the mod as it is today, but it was fun back in the day with 16vs16 players...

steel thunder was great forest, but had some very fundamental problems with it (large amount of trees and undergrowth lagged) and the grass drawing distance made tank zoom kill any kind of organised infantry tactics...

Steel thunder was the best. I was mad to see it gone in .6. The only thing i saw wrong with that map was the crazy flag cap order, i dont know what was wrong but every time i play that map it just didnt make sense.

i would love to see some of these maps re-relased (the ones that can, be suited to all the rules of .60) in a retro map pack releace. for the love of god i still play the first wolfenstiene once and a while, that and pong. its a shame all the newer players out there haven't been able to experience some of the oldies but goodies.

I only joined in 0.5 so I wont vote but arent you missing the Inishail forest map, I would have voted for that since steel thunder would not work out now.
Mao valley was the map that made me fall to my knees in praise for its removal

Jalalabad was my favourite (and most played) stock map, wish I havent missed that

Airport, good infantary map..

I liked greasy mullet :hissyfit:

The old basra with the littlebird, insurgents used to actually win :O

Almost getting a bit misty eyed here, it was the first map I ever played on PR. I sure do miss it.

I remember defending with Batalla for the first time on that map. And norhawk exploring the wonderful world of explosives, getting us killed. First time I had a look under the flag in the sewer finding 8 guys swimming about and wondering how the hell I was gonna lure them out. Schrotti killing me 5 times in a row with his silenced marksman kit. *Sigh* Those where the days, when I had high bloodpressure!
'[T wrote:BludShoT;536577']Oh man, I loved that gun!!! That was the coolest gun in PR. It impressed anyone who came from vBF2. I remember when we played Helix on Muttrah City (it has that gun) holy **** that was an awesome match. We rushed your first flag with the little bird and surprised the hell out of you hehe. PR was a more simple kind of fun back then.
Man, I remember that match like it was yesterday! The first 30 seconds we went from "Execute order" to "WTF?". I can actually give you a blow-for-blow recount of the entire match. Wow - it was intense. We thought we would loose for sure after that first round. You had us completely demoralized.
