That's not what I meant. Cus in Battlefield you can choose which spawnpoint you spawn. So if you want to keep the teams together they have to choose the same spawnpoint. So one person has to choose, els you end up seperated.

[R-DEV wrote:HellSpike.exe]how about the cs system?
you just stay dead untill you're whole team is dead [or your team killed the other team]
Because of the small levels, it is ok to do that in CS... we are talking about LARGE maps, where the guy might be on the other side of the map, hence, it would take a very long time to locate, get within shooting range, and kill him. So instead of waiting a few minutes, u end of waiting for 15-20 minutes.

IRT AH
Having a new gamemod (conquest, ctf etc.) with his own minisize maps will make it possible.

I like [R-DEV]HellSpike.exe's idea, with it setup so that squad-mates spawn near the other squad members. Doesn't CoD do something like that in team matches? Is it possible to code something like that in the BF/BF2 engine?? Maybe so that the highest ranked member of the squad (seeing as BF2 is introducing a ranking system), acts as a mobile spawn point, allowing squad members to respawn with the squad, as well as giving them the ability to spawn somewhere else, maybe to bring in some armour/air support for the squad.
Just a thought

that is true, but cant be done on a regular map that will come standard with BF:2. Unless edited.

yes but what is a "total conversion" (i think that's the right term) without some custom maps?

Classes should be limited to real life specifications.
Customizations should be limited to classes and weapons that are modified in real life, wich brings it down to the special forces.
