Theres the sticky within the SP Section. Gotta make a new install of the PR SP stuff, then get whatever "map packs" you want.

SP should a requirement for anyone "attempting" to fly jets, helos
or use other valuable assets (for the first time) on the "multy" servers.
Played it a few times - great fun.I wouldn't compare it to the multilayer as
in my mind it serves a different purpose,like tea and coffee,both good.

Its a fantastic Mini Mod.. i love it.. i just installed it today and i cant stop playing..

But it haves some Crashes... like today.. i had 5 Crahes in Mid-Game

tried it once, then a new PR patch came out. The installation process for the whole thing was so much more complicated compared to PR regular that i just stopped.

/would be really nice if there was a packed installer for the whole thing (with official map pack etc).

It's now in its own installer. Just a few bits you need to do which aren't too taxing.

I have played it but when i found out that the bots where not suppressed by me I gave up

I did have it but i found tht the surpression effect was stupid in SP. evey second i was blinded, i cud nva see in PR SP i eman EVER!! and be nice to have VIP mode in SP. and still in game come to tink of it, thts for another thread tho.. so yeah like to see new releases of PR SP and im gonna reinstall it now actually =)

Yeah I play it at least once a week Outlaw .... I find it a nice break from the c**p that you get on MP. It's a great way of playing something that is familiar but without all the hassles of having other humans in the game.

You are the SP team are doing a great job

Usely use it for Tank, jet and chopper practise.

I haven't finished the download yet (I can't wait!), but even when I had the regular BF2, I played single player most of the time. Mutliplayer was fun, but there is just so much stuff to put up with, people who camp spawn points (spawning on the AC carrier on the midway map was suicide) and teamkill for fun....but hopefully the community on this game will be better. I have a question though, when playing SP, is the AI improved? In BF2, my teammates essentially did nothing but get in the way. Either way, I am looking forward to this game!!!

SP is awesome! I can't wait for the final release, but until then I'll amuse myself with the 2nd beta. My favorite way to play is to get together with 1-4 friends and do some slow paced coop. Thats how I like to play BF2 as well, minus the slow paced. I find it much more entertaining to play with people I know along with computer players than some random know-it-alls (and I know they're not all like that) who constantly call you n00b.

Don't let these playa-haters ( ) distract you, dev-team , this is an amazing development project! I am a programmer myself and I can't imagine all the work you put into this. Good job, keep it up!

I always said to myself: COme on chris... You wanna test PR SinglePlayer but than im bored by any other SinglePlayer and im gonna play PR Multiplayer ^^

Naa never played it

I play it almost everyday, its good when i dont have much time and just want to play for a short time, but after i play i end up playing the whole map.. It still can use a lot of work with some of the bugs.. most are map specific.

Bots are smarter than a lot of human players to boot.

Big plus is that SP is the perfect training ground where you can play with all the toys without disrupting a game since you need at least 3 in a squad to get a lot of the kits.

Also,you can fire it up for a quick 15-20 minute game instead of getting embroiled in a 2-3hr battle.

And , for those that don;t have high speed , they can at least enjoy most of the fun of PRM.

+1 ....... this is exactly why I play.

I would like to add that you can also play with one or a handful of mates and have a very fulfilling game.

Whatever Outlaw and his gang have done to the bots they have done well ... they are sneaky sonsofbiatches, often catch me off guard and are by all means far from stupid.

It's just a real pity that the lead Dev's seem to view SP as an extremely low priorty and have not intergrated the other PR propriety game modes into it. I would play on an insurgent or extract coop server anyday.

Well, extract isnt even in MP PR

The main problem is that so many things change throughout the making and release of each version that it would basically turn into "Ok, its finally done for MP, now we gotta wait another X amount of time before SP is fixed up due to recent changes"

At least, thats how I fear it would become. Also, it takes a lot of extra files if I remember correctly, and PR is already a huge download for a lot of people. :\

I dont think its that DEVs dont care, its that there just might not be a better/perfect way of doing it :\

And yeah, seeing as the majority of the forum/ known members are downloading for MP[take a look at the poll in this very thread], it only makes sense that SP is a low priority for lead DEVs. That not being a ****, thats just working with/for the majority

feels like sp is for people without any connection. i'd rather play on practice servers. bots don't talk smack ;(
