If the allies with superior firepower and equipment cannot overcome an insurgent position then they deserve to fail.
in case you have not got the memo, the Brits in Basra have only slightly more firepower. basically, brits have one tank, a few landies, and except for the tank, you only need a couple good RPG gunners and a rally point to slaughter the attacking force.

either increase the british tickets or figure out a way to give the brits in basra air-cover (miniguns on merlin or apache)

I dont have any complaints about Al Basrah Insurgency at all.....
I love the map and dont even mind the crashes due to my enjoyment of the map.
I would rather not have them....but I just rejoin every two maps or so.
I adapt and overcome.

I have also had my fair share of wins on both the Insurgency AND the British side.
Just been lucky I guess.

If I could change one thing though.....

I would change the civilian class.

I would add an empty placeholder to the kit.
This empty slot would mean that the civilian is empty handed.

If he held anything in his hand....rock......binoculars.....wrench.....band-aid......grappling-hook.....he is deemed as aiding and helping the insurgency.

I can hear the "reality purists" tuning up now....."Just because a civie has something in his hand IRL it doesnt mean he is an insurgent!!!"

Your right.

But for the sake of game-play......and to make this game a challenge for the class.....it should be implemented!

Im tired of seeing civies unrealistically standing on lightposts.
Im tired of seeing civies running out to snipers and standing and chucking rocks.
Im tired of all the other BS civies do in the game that are uncharacteristic of "reality" causing this mode to feel more arcade and "vanilla".

I would also bring back the kills while climbing on a rope as well.
This would solve most of the lamppost perching as well.

Just my .02

They have the apc too which is more usefull then the tank tbh but also more vunerable. I reckon they could get an apache too but it'd probably be a negative drawing away from the merlin and limiting proper infantry squads numbers further as well.
Civilians are hard to spot in black and white from 400m away too

the Apache would make it un-balanced and then you would have insurgent players complaing about how un-balanced it is. Im not sure what the brits use but maybe if they got the equivalent of the LB gunship or a kiowa gunship itd help them out. If they get anything on that map at all that is.
