What will be the scope use in the game ?

Every AuSteyr will have a scope. The likely breakdown is as follows:
- The "ironsight" rifle will be the normal F88 or a F88S with an ADI scope, depending on who is using it. The likely scenario is that front line combat classes will use the newer F88S and support classes, the older F88.
- The "scoped" rifle will be the F88S with an ELCAN.
- The designated marksmen rifle will be the F88S with the ACOG.
- The crewman's weapon will probably be a F88C which looks like the normal F88 with a shortened barrel.

shouldn't the marksman get a longer barrel?

But are you guys using other weapons then the f88?
Of course. The service pistol will be a Browning Hi-Power. The standard light machine gun is likely to be a F89 Minimi with a fixed stock and ADI scope. The current Minimi or the new para version, which is being made, may be used as a placeholder. The M72A6 and Carl Gustav M3 will be the L-AT and H-AT respectively. An M4 of some description will be the carbine for the spec-ops class and a suppressed USP will be the sidearm. The SR-98 will be the sniper rifle but at some stage it may be supplemented or replaced by the SR-25.

No. Ideally it would be the heavy barrelled version with the bipod not unlike the L86A2 LSW. It is my understanding that they are not in common usage so it will probably be as you see it. Having a longer barrel doesn't always equate to greater accuracy anyways.

Hey, is the aus styer modified to have semi auto? i was told that most styers have ONLY automatic and the irish army modify theirs to be able to switch between firing modes. and i know from personal experiance that it does have both firing modes, but what about other countries?
Also, just a side question about your model...
Firstly...WOW!!!! that looks awesome!
Secondly...Is the Left hand rod going to stick down into the ground when the player goes prone?

we have both... You can go semi by pulling the trigger back half way and auto pulling it al the way back

But not a little grey switch beneath the trigger mechanism underwhere the blade of your wrist would be? thats the way we have it. i guess my adviser was correct.

Note: ours can be awkward, because its tricky to pull the pip out of place to change firing modes, i think you pop it in for automatic, and pop it out for semi.

no no we have the switch aswell... all the switch does is it can lock the trigger so it cant pass point A (a being semi b being auto) but once the switch is pulled down the trigger can go to point B

The thing with the AuSteyr is that you don't need to switch to auto (unless you've fiddled to make it fire only in single shot. I can't remember how it's done, it was too long ago). Instead you pull the trigger past the first position, to the second position where it keeps on firing.

but for the purpose of a game its gonna have to be a button we press to change the rate of fire!
cause we can't make a half mouse click be semi and a full mouse click be auto.... not gonna work...
