You don't have to do anything with kashan_desert? Only kashan_nights?

Let's do some testing tonight then?

I'll make sure the server is running. I guess we'll go for Kashan 32?

I found this sentence quite funny and since this is a war game forum I will put it here. No offense to the french just a good laugh.

Please just not 32 (nor 64). Its impossible to test game play on those maps because everybody just takes heavy vehicles and rush for enemy main base to destroy all their stuff, there is no serious playing :/

Not on .:iGi:. server. There is a no baserape rule. Alhough that may be what happens on random public servers.

We will be active on testing tonight so no baserape on the server.

I'll be around from about 8pm onwards :)

Oh and when you say testing do you mean playtesting or actual, proper testing? :D

Now what the hell?

---------------------------
Error!
---------------------------
mods/xpack/shaders/terrainshader.fx not found!!! _DO_ check your working directory, _AND_ sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP. (really!)
---------------------------
Retry (error pops up again) | Cancel (CTD)

I've cleaned up shader cache what else should I try?

Can you see shaders_client.zip AND shaders_night_client.zip in your PR folder?

If not, can you see those files, but with the addition of ".backup"? If so, remove the ".backup" from the filename.

If you don't have those files, download these and put them in your PR directory:
http://thirdforces.internationalconspir ... client.zip
http://thirdforces.internationalconspir ... client.zip

There ya go, that should work :) .

Ah, ok, I see. The night one wasn't there. Just .backup.

Thanks for the help ;) .

EDIT: looks like it didn't work after all :-(
Removed the .backup from shaders_night_client.zip.backup but no change.
Still crashes at 18% (Objects)...

Download the shaders, see if it helps?

Also, start up PR, then close it, so PR closes normally. Then restart PR, try again? (with the downloaded shaders)

And my advice would be to load the map locally first (create local server) before trying to play it online.

can i just say i think we need better Night Vision in the jets, i was in the A-10 and as there is no laser designation, (due to soflam being replaced with NVG) it is impossible to attack anything. As soon as you go above 200m you can see F*** All so its impossible to hit tanks without going really low, also due to this its hard to judge when to pull up, as i found after getting lost in the pitch black and doing several loops wondering what way up i was facing, after i saw the altimeter begin to go down i level it ou and then suddenly the ground came out of nowhere with no room to pull up.

we need the NV to be more powerful in the Jets.
